Ready to learn the truth about dieting and building muscle that no one tells you about?
PPL PROGRAM: bit.ly/GETRHPPL
FULL GYM PROGRAM: bit.ly/fullgym...
30 DAY GARAGE PROGRAM: bit.ly/3igtiIF
First thing people tell you either because they have no clue themselves is that you have to eat big to get big! Meaning you need to be in a huge calorie surplus to grow which couldn't be further from the truth. Some of the leading experts will tell you that all you need is 10% above your maintenance calories to grow but in my experience you can be in a calorie deficit and still build lean muscle as long as protein is the bulk of your calories.
Another thing that no one wants to tell you is that you're always fatter than you think you are. And this is REALLY important because if you don't know exactly what your body fat is then you'll start justifying things that will set you back like increasing your calories or an entire pizza...
Lastly if you want to put on muscle then you need to focus on the mind muscle connection.. not the amount of weight you move. That's everything!

Ryan's advices have led to the most effective exercises I have ever done (and most excruciating), but results speak for themselves. I did calisthenics and bodyweight exercises mostly, but I have found these extra tips of his for these types of exercises to be far more effective and satisfying to me personally than any painful occasions before that in the gym. In the process I took a muscle gain plan from Next Level Diet, and without additional supplements needed, my muscles started to grow massively over the last two months.

Just to add to this, many people have a cable machine at the back of their rack, but it's not height adjustable and not crossover, it's a single cable, so can't do things like flys. It can be used for curls, pull downs, tricep extensions, etc but not for many of the things you demonstrate in the full gym and PPL programs. It would be great if you can mention a few alternative exercises for us lot.

Ryan, I bought one of your programs to help me have a structured workout with my teenage daughter. It’s been great for our relationship so thank you. We’ll cycle through it a few times and move on to the next… One program I’d love is how to get a solid workout out of a shitty hotel gym. The kind with a single set of dumbbells and a single bench and a broken treadmill. If we’re lucky sometimes there’s one cable machine but that’s 50/50 at the places I stay at. Not a six day but maybe a 3 day / 3 variations - back/bi; chest/tri; legs/shoulders; and an ab extra - 10 workouts, 10 bucks - as an example. Whatever you suggest but personally I’m helpless and discouraged in hotel gyms and sometimes find a real gym nearby but time doesn’t always allow that. Thank you!

i got into weightlifting at the beginning of this year, after losing a total of 115 lbs over 2 dieting cycles and a couple years. I lost a lot of strength on my last diet cycle, where i broke my own plateau of 240 lbs, and have been at 205 for 7 months now. I wanted to rebuild my strength, but eating became a problem. I knew i was underfeeding myself, but i seriously worried about over eating, and falling back into old ways. I have been focusing on my protein intake for 5-6 weeks now, ensuring i get around 1 gram per lb of body weight. I have never felt as good as i have, eventually i will start tracking calories as well, once i plateau again and i need to switch it up. This is my advice for a new lifter, dont think too hard about your diet, but make sure you hit that protein level every day and kill it in the gym. Eat to maintain your energy, dont worry about fat loss if you want to get strong.

Would love to see some content regarding how you can condition and train at the same time as a heavier dude. Theres tons of content out there but its mostly calisthenics or just very lean guys doing the exercises. Some exercises that maintains your joints, builds tendon strength and muscle strength would be appreciated. Also, if you have any advice on intervals for muscle/tendon growth time spans it would also help alot as tendons build up slower than muscle.

My son was attending Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and they do a reenactment of the charge at the Battle at New Market on the actual battlefield, and I couldn't walk more than 10 feet. I needed a 4-wheel scooter because of the ground. Now I just ride it around the house for fun. I love your videos and it is kicking the shit out of me. with a heart condition, I want to push myself hard, afraid of hurting myself. I have 2 stints plus a chamber partially dead with clotting, wearing a heart monitor for arythmia this month. back when I wasn't an old fuck, I tried gyms out, I'd always end up not being able to scratch my own ass the next day, hence my apprehension now in how hard to push myself. Goal is simple, be as strong as my vessel will allow. I don't need to be ripped/cut/whatever. I just want to be fit. No specific goal of 8% body fat ... 15-20% is fine, if I was able to compete without death in a strongman competition ... I didn't say win it, but just be able to do the damn shit. To me, coming back from a lifetime of self-neglect and becoming a gentle giant of muscle mass would be a fine accomplishment. Though I will always think I look fat. Took a picture in the mirror and thought it was someone else, my body image is a lot fatter than the mirror presents, though I'm still an overweight pile of trash, I'm no longer obese/morbidly obese. I'm under 200lbs from being around 400 lbs, journey far from over. I don't care as much about the number as my waist line went from 54" to 38" and will continue to shrink; I wouldn't mind being 18% body fat at 200 lbs rather than 30% body fat at 200 lbs. I think what this channel does is very specific and great for many people. A online coach to tell people they aren't trying hard enough ... because for almost everyone, it is the damn truth. Thank you, I appreciate the inspiration and motivation you work hard give others and myself.

That's some funny and true shi$t you talk about in this clip! I like how honest truth is the central idea behind your commentary. It just know you are not going to market a new Pre Workout energiser drink. O protein shake for post workout. Looking forward to another video soonest! SUBSCRIBED!

I've basically been cutting for 2yrs went from 220-230lbs to 143lbs. I had almost no muscle it was all fat. Now I'm much smaller but I have way more muscle & visible abs 😁... kinda when I flex/tighten them. I have my body fat % where I want it, so now I'm gradually bulking 300cal surplus & I'm seeing the most strength gains ever. I been putting weight on the bar almost every week & hitting new PR's

I'd love to see some kind of programming/instruction on training for guys/people with extraordinarily long limbs. I've never actually measures my arm length or wingspan -- but my arms are lanky and long af. I have fairly jacked arms, but my issue is primarily working my chest and doing pullups (because of the long length). Thanks in advance! Keep up the solid work dude!

Your programs are the first and only ones I've ever purchased from a youtuber. They are great, purchased 2 so far. Personally I prefer the 30 day garage one because I have a home gym where I work out most. It's hard to substitute workouts with the gym program. I only go to the gym when I'm working nights so machines are not always available. I feel a garage 2 program would be great! I'd buy it for sure. Thanks for the Great videos.

@H i use the home gym on my days off. At my work there is a gym with machines. So when I work night shift I work out on my break and use the gym available. Other people sleep but I feel better and sleep better using the gym.

I'm very curious as to how much money you can actually make from KZbin videos when you are as popular as you are. It looks like you are doing very well for yourself but I'm sure you have other monies coming in from different areas because you're a smart man. Great video brother.

I heart you friend, my favorite thing about the fitness space is contradictory data / advice. Ask the guys @ Mind Pump and they'll tell you as a "hard gainer" you need to be hitting 3K calories.

How about making a program for a truck drivers that want to stay in shape. Hotels usually have ok fitness centers but not always and it's a pain in the ass to haul weights around when you have no room to put them. Something that revolves around a schedule that is crazy. Someday can shutdown early and someday super late so trying to keep a good schedule is hard.
