Isn't evasion like the lowest boost in the game? Used to be pretty low increase in gen 1. 25/100 28/100 33/100 40/100 50/100 66/100 To get up to plus six likely getting wrecked before you do. Kinda pointless after the first 2 stages. Pretty strong into Pokémon using like thunder or something though or fire blast. Kinda sucks have a +1 stage though against 100% moves.

I feel like the important things about Alolan Muk, defensively, are - Its typing means it cant be poisoned unless your opponent brings Salazzle - It has one weakness to Ground, and its not even a quad weakness - Dark also means its immune to Prankster bs - Muk is crazy bulky by default and its stat distribution really favors moves like Curse - Poison Touch just means it can win against every non poison or steel type by attrition when the stars align

And don't forget about its hidden ability, Power of Alchemy, in double battles, like pairing it with a Medichan, knocking it out so Muk can use Pure Power, or Dancer from Oricorio so it can also use dancing moves like Dragon Dance while still being able to attack.

Like Receiver Passimian going through the roof if you pair him with Misty Explosion Azumarill and he can inherit Huge Power and activate his Weakness Policy. PoA and Receiver are inherently kinda weird to set up and its a doubles only strategy. But I get you - if you can pull it off, it makes Muk even better.

I gotta one of the funniest moments I had with Muk was going up against someone using Registeel. Could not get rid of that one since I decided to make it chunky boy with black sludge item and acid armor. Earthquake barely did anything to it and I laughed that I landed an ice punch on the Registeel and froze it. What added more was I got max turns on it too

I don't think there was a single fast alolan native pokemon except toguedemaro who was protected by armor, cutiefly who managed to protect itself with dust, tapu koko who exists in a terrain of its own not effected by the outside world and lyconrock out of sheer luck. Every other fast pokemon introduced in gen 7 where either not native to alola such as the regional variants of kanto pokemon or ultra beasts. "What about minior?" Ultra sun pokedex answers that question " It lives in the ozone layer, where it becomes food for stronger Pokémon. When it tries to run away, it falls to the ground." Out of the curse's range.
