as gen 1 comp player (not that im particularly good) its awesome to see rhydon shine again. his huge bulk, normal resistance, and devastating earthquakes and rock slides are amazing in gen 1, especially when your opponents team is weakened/ paralyzed.

Ah Rhydon, I loved this guy growing up. Him and Piloswine running double fades cause Ice Shard and Stone Edge. I actually use him in a similar manner (cause a tourney I took part in banned full evos) So I had a team of Charjabug, Rhydon, and Piloswine, and took 4th. That Tera Flying kit is no joke as I like putting Poison Jab (I should use Fire Punch, it does have more raw coverage), and the super-tank that is Charjabug stalling with Tera Flying/Steel.

What about a tera rock head smash aggron? Getting rid of his 4x weaknesses, and patching the sp def with a sandstorm boost. You could use rock polish to x2 his speed, and aggron had decent coverage aswell. Aggron is my favourite pokemon and i always wished he had more of a niece, but with tera the rock head head smash could hit pretty hard!
