‘No one wants to see it’: People are ‘sick’ of woke comedy

British comedian and GB news presenter Leo Kearse says people are “sick” of woke comedy and “no one wants to see it”.
“People are sick of woke comedy. It’s not making any money,” Mr Kearse said.
“No one wants to go and see it.
“Eventually you’re going to need some jokes.”

Part of the comedy greats, Pryor Carlin Murphy old Lawrence Kinnison is that they understood that we could make fun of each other laugh and have a good time without taking offense...not everything is a personal attack...some people need to learn to laugh at themselves every now and again

The problem nowadays with comedy is people have become so precious..easily offended, pass judgement because they don’t like what they hear and think it is okay to call people out because they expect people to live by their questionable stands…because everything needs to be “a safe space” ….but if some people tried to laugh it would crack their faces.

There was a venue in Sydney a handful of years ago that required all comedians who wanted to perform to fill out a form. There was a huge list of subjects you were NOT allowed to comment on. Basically there was literally NOTHING left and ended up a massive waste of time.
