No One Warned Us About This - Driving in Fuerteventura

We’re driving from the south to the north of Fuereventura Island, changing accommodation, but also stopping off along the way, taking in some more sights and attractions. However, no one warned us about a particular road leading up to Faro de la Entallada, narrow with huge drops!

A lot of the roads near where I live in west cork Ireland. Are like that road to the light house.

Those were some great views and a beautiful lighthouse 😊 And the road to the lighthouse actually looks like some of the normal roads in several parts of Norway 🤪😄

@@unowhotravelchannel You are very welcome 😀 There are a lot of good roads, but not everywhere. But there are rails on the side of the roads to protect you from the sheer drops , and many places with a lay-by 😊 I myself am going to Cornwall in June, to revisit a couple of places on West Penwith and also revisit the Isles of Scilly for a few days and do some walking. Have a wonderful trip 🙂

I reckon it's Caleta De Voo - silent f and ste Simon. Great drive up - the cloud inversion was worth it - the light house pretty cool too. I don't think I saw one stressed person in the whole area. A very mellow stay I'd say. Good going both. All the best. Mark

Nice video, I felt that I was almost back there. We found that some of the roads on the island just finished halfway up the mountains with no warning. A few years ago I would have been joining those lucky runners.

Great video l drove up there some years ago l have never been so panicked in my life the higher you get the worst it gets never again! Once been never forgotten! Sorry but Caleta not my cup of tea ! 😦 island house only recently refurbished used to be derelict with squatters so good to see the change! 😎

you were lucky not to meet any other cars going up or down that road to the lighthouse it looked very narrow for 2 cars to pass each other but worth the effort for the views up there and nice ice creams
