Salt has a few key weaknesses that hold him back. First off, he needs an actual stiff jab. In fact, literally every single influencer needs a stiffer jab. But he relies too much on speed to just try to land a back hand and hard lead hooks. He needs to use his jab to set things up and establish his range and not just get into a fire fight. If he keeps doing that his chin will eventually just crack. Which brings me to my next point, when he starts to do well he just walks into range. His confidence takes over and he just steps toward his opponent to try to throw big shots. He can’t let his mentality get the best of him and get sloppy. Last, he need more head movement. He leaves his head open to shots too often especially in exchanges.

MY OPINION: I don't know why Salt Papi seems so tired even only on the first round. AND he got good techniques but his punches seem like it loses the strength he once have. Its sad to see Salt papi like this.😔 There's 4 problem that I see in his performance. 1. Always same combination. He will always be predictable if he throws the same combination from start to finish. 2. Stamina. Around Round 3 he's legs is tired. He needs more rounds of sparring and running. 3. Head movement. Well he had some head movements now compared to his fight with AT. But still not enough. Slim still checks him with straight jab. 4. He doesn't use enough jab for a set up. He always rush his dominant hand first when he's on offense. To add. I think Salt papi needs a professional coach. He mildly fix hes head movement and still uses the same combination in AT fight. (I watched their fight 3 times btw) I'm not boxer, but I'm a big fan of boxing and mma. I hope he comes back stronger😔💔

@@joemama_lol. well I think he's weight is not the problem. In Anthony Taylor fight, Salt papi loses a little bit of weight. That's the first preparation for his weight journey. And yet hes been defeated. I think the real problem is his camp and coach. He still using same combination used in AT fight. His offense has no set up. Always start with dominant hand first. He only uses jab when he's measuring the distance Also I think Salt papi is comfortable with his weight now since he's been the same physique 1 month before the fight I think.

Salt papi has lost a lot of weight, it definitely affected him, what he should’ve done is waited longer before taking the fight. His body needed to accustom to his new weight. I think that it’s good he lost the weight and he should continue, but the body needs to accustom to a specific weight. When he’s been at a heavy weight for a long time and cuts it down, 4/5 months isn’t long enough to accustom he needs 1-2 years. I had a boxing coach who taught me this. The chin is weaker, it’s to do with the water weight in the brain.
