Hi mustwinder.I agree. It,s really frustrating sometimes working as a nurse. I,m involved in some really tragic situations and suddenly the next patient who has really not much to complain about reads up a litany of laments. I find it really hard to be empathetic in those situations. Just like i don,t feel sorry for the furniture lady.

@isabellainnorway It can be hard to see why someone is breaking over something we think is nothing to be upset over, but when you think about it, each of us has a breaking point and I'm positive there are things I can handle just fine, that would break you, and that there are things you would handle just fine, that would break me. But you don't always need empathy to have compassion for someone else being in pain. If nothing else, pity that they lack the ability to appreciate what they have.

No, he's Swedish... It says so in a few episodes, not to mention his name is very Swedish. "Lars Hansen" When he said that in season one he was making fun of Norwegians. You wouldn't say something like that about your own people. Vikings, for one, originated from Norway so saying it feels like 100 of them are pounding your head is supposed to be a gross exaggeration.
