I live in South Asia, and go to a Catholic school. In our textbook, the writers had taken this exact song, changed a couple of lyrics, and tried to pass it off as a poem about nature. When our teacher asked one of us to blindly recite it in front of class, I volunteered, and proceeded to holler "no pope of Rome!" for the next 2 minutes, much to the shock and ire of the teachers😅
