I love Colorado! That Robbins egg blue sky, and the towering pines… It gets no better. And I’m usually camping off grid, using solar and a small power bank just to keep the little stuff going. Unplugged!

It is sooo nice to be able to just turn off our Internet, rather than constantly being connected. Nice to be able to read a book or play games, have conversations or sit by the campfire. It's peaceful for sure, glad you are liking our time in Colorado, we are loving it!!

First of all, I want to thank you for sharing your lives with us. Your optimistic attitudes and smiling faces are a sure sign you do not need much to feel complete and comfortable in life. Getting back to basics is good enough for me. My late husband and I used to boon dock. Back in the 70's we camped along the California coast and we took a trip in a truck and camper for four months and traveled throughout the United States. Although, it was 50 years ago, we enjoyed the outdoors. We did not have solar back then. We had a television with a battery and we watched t.v. as night. We installed battery lights. You have the right idea. Watching you enjoying your life and having fun, not many people can proclaim to say this. Have you watched the Vanwives on YT?

I commend you guys for cleaning those bathrooms. I couldn't do it. If I had to, I would wear a mask in addition to gloves because I wouldn't want any bacteria flying up into my respiratory system. Love Winston. He is the cutest guy. So mellow. I'm surprised you only have to move your solar panels once per day. When I camp, I have to constantly move them. I could not lift those heavy batteries you have. Oh to be young again.

I'm living off grid because a rat chewed my wiring in my trailer and the power died 5 days ago. I can't get anyone to fix it!!!😢 plus I'm pretty sick. I have a bad eye infection and I can hardly walk. I'm in trouble. I loved your video!❤ I live in CA which I think is not a good place to be. It's failing. So glad you're loving Colorado. I was always a little bit paranoid that you would hate it, and I would feel guilty for pushing you to pick it when you were asking for opinions. I know it's alot of work, and the weather is way different than what you were probably used to, but i just really love it here. I also love that you mentioned my Trader Joes lol.keep your phones juiced up and on you in case you run into deer, and Moose, and bears ect. Would love to see some wildlife pics. I know you have to be seeing some at that altitude. We eere camping near Woodland Park a couple of summers ago, and a beautiful honey colored bear ran right through our campsite while we were sitting around the fire eating dinner at dusk lol. The worst for us was no water, internet and power. We would run our generator on the days no one was there and only use it at night so I def know how that is and we would go to town download movies so we had something to watch before bed but it was the best to be disconnected. We would help people to if we were there on our days off and when we wanted to get a break we would adventure around the campground or go fishing! Uh u guys make me miss it. Best job in the world in my opinion ❤ giirrlll on the toilets after u scrub take Pam spray oil and spray the sides shit will literally slid off and they stay clean longer.

I have to admit when my husband was watching Game of Thrones I was reading. But I did watch Breaking Bad, I really did not think I could enjoy something like that being in Pharmacy. But Love It!!! I also watched Mad Men mostly (some Reading I will admit I am a boodworm I read at least one book a week sometimes two). I am so glad you have a routine I'm sure it makes more sense.

I say I could live off grid and probably could do it for a couple of months. Internet is a must and I will use as many generators and battery packs as necessary to do what I want. You guys have a good setup, love your ice fishing tent shower house. I think you said you are using 3 solar battery units, is there one that will power your entire camper? Starlink is expensive, is the signal strong and consistent? You are living my dream job, cleaning toilets and firepits an easy tradeoff for that view and freedom. You are doing a really good job of sharing our experience and thanks for sharing!

It really is a perfect trade-off for freedom! Thank you for all of your thoughtful questions! Starlink is working really well for us, honestly better for Internet and streaming because phone calls cut out every few minutes, but we are just happy to have it. We can plug our camper into the larger power banks! we have been using our generator when the sun is not out to charge them.

It’s a 15.6” portable monitor, we made sure to get one with the universal mount holes on the back so we can have it on a swivel. We also plugged in a small portable speaker so the sound is better. We plugged in a Roku and It’s a great little tv setup!

No way! We definitely want to explore Leadville! And thank you for your kind words! Our water froze up once, but it defrosted soon. Our power boxes have been fine and thankfully nights are getting closer to the 40s. We are loving it here
