My husband and I started van camping in 1974 with our two small children. For nine winters we went to Mexico, took seven years off while the kids were in high school, and just the two of us returned to Mexico again for the winter in 1991. Our van had a standing Coleman ice chest we built in, and a Coleman stove. Water was in jugs, and our porta potty was yogurt containers. Every winter we traveled all over Mexico and Guatemala and in 2004 we got a small traveler trailer because at 60 I wanted a bathroom. Our last trailer was a 23 foot and we ended up just staying the winter in one place in Mexico instead of traveling all around. We missed the convience of going places in the van, but enjoyed the life we had with friends we met there each year. March 2020 was our last trip, but we have wonderful Memories of almost forty years of traveling.

Thank you so much for sharing your memories ❤ It sounds like you had some wonderful times. It's kinda wild to think how the Earth Roamer compares to the van camping you did in 1974 right!? ❤ Are your kids into camping with their families because of growing up with that kind of vacation? I was born in the mid 70's so I have teenagers now and they love to camp out!

Does it come with spare LTi and two technicians ? 😃 Had to ask since Nate keeps complaining that they won't let them go unescorted 😃 Of course they won't - even a small mishap ca escalate into colossal damage. So a real correlated question would be - how much is insurance and does anyone even sell it (covering real equipment failures and potential damages, not just "highway and parking dings").

If you see the Bimobil, Unicat, MnG90 the attention to detail in these vehicles and the use of space and all the rest thrown in is in my mind the benchmark worldwide. This Earthroamer is on par with all of them so i am very excited and pleased to see where they are, and where they will be going with this co. On top of that, we just spoke this week with a couple at a campground who were returning from a motorhome caravan to Alaska. They mentioned how hard it was on their equipment, not to mention that of their companions (20 some other couples/rigs). EarthRoamer seems cxustom built to handle such rigors. Great video by the way.

When we all know the only reason they're pushing those products is because they're recieving some type of benefit from pitching them. And, those sales pitches are steadily increasing. That's the greed. I can see by your words that your position is extract as much money as you can. And by the way their product is filming their travels not all that other stuff from different companies that they get for free and want everyone else to buy. You know exactly what they're doing and if you agree with it that's fine.

Kudos to you all. You are better off living this way. I was out with my family this morning and this guy was just mean-mugging us. Yeah it was taking a long time for us to cross in the walk but dang. Then when we left the establishment some other guy was trailing in behind me; this is a big pet-peeve of mine. However, congrats with the vehicle.

I love the open the door and the steps fold out, love Kara welcome to the galley, hey siri what is a galley called on land, Nothing better or worse that cold coffee, depending if it has been brewed that way or not. the ski part could do really good as an ASMR clip.

Very cool, guys. Glad you both did the cold plunge. I would say take it to a hot spot next to test it in both extremes :)

I always think your earth roamer videos are just going to be a boring tour, but they are always so fun. This looked like you had a laugh filming it. How cool you get to experience things like this. ❤

What kind of average MPG does that thing get on the highway while enroute to somewhere? Any chance it's over 10, over 12, what? Thanks. Dang, I love that road clearance and those tires. And what is the height of the vehicle, from ground to highest point? Somehow I doubt it will fit inside most hotel garages, but maybe some, so I ask. Oh, any screens on any of the windows? I didn't see any when you opened a few. By the way, Kara's great, but Nate, great name! 🙂 The silence of an isolated winter wonderland. Nothing like it! Add in all that exercise to get to and from. I think my smile is as large as yours are!

Come to southwestern Montana and experience winter extremes and winter dreams. And then you realize what it must have been like when it was settled. Lots of amazing places.

Love the cold plunge! But by the look of it you could have done the same trip in a Civic. And dinner looked like it’s from Subway. The turning radius on this beast seems quite limiting.
