Tsem Rinpoche's talk is always so engaging, interesting and most of all, easy to understand. Rinpoche's way of approach in teaching attracts people because Rinpoche always use anology and symbolism to teach, so people who does not have deep Dharma knowledge can understand, learn and absorb. Wonderful!

Its amazing what Tsem Rinpoche read out of a somewhat cryptic message by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. He has obvious seen the genius of Chogyam Trungpa and has the wisdom to interpret it for students who may not understand the intent of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

The entire no poem is exactly like what the heart sutra is talking about: freeing the mind from wrong concepts. Everything is empty, because they are based on wrong preception. Since what we see and what reality really is is different, it is very obvious that what we see is empty of truth. That was really what the big no was all about.

@deflepfollower I guess it's difficult to understand, as we're listening to this teaching with our limited and closed minds.Nevertheless, if we make an effort and say "no" (say) to our envying someone else being given a project that we'd always wanted to do and instead "rejoice" with her for being given this opportunity, then when we realize a glimpse of happiness from our mind opening up this little bit, maybe we're on the way to understanding the big "NO" and the whole teaching of Rinpoche.

is it just me but when I see Americans or westerners trying to be like a lama it is just too hard for me to take them seriously. I keep thinking, "what do they know?" Natives are so much better at expressing and teaching others their own culture. Not saying this guy is an American but just saying in general.
