One of the most important speeches here is Alex talking about work and life. There's literally nothing wrong with having a job that pays the bills, allows you to have family time, and buys you the things you want. Everyone nowadays just wants to keep upping their life to maximize the amount of money they make but picking the $150k job that produces non-stop stress over the $75k job that you leave happy every day is irrational. If your current job is checking all of your boxes, why leave? I work in IT at a small hospital, my job is barely stressful, and I don't make the best money, but I have a good amount of money left at the end of the month because I live below my means, I'm not stressed about debt or bills, and my wife and son are happy, I'm going to stay here as long as I can because it gives me what I want from life.

This 30 minute video took me 2 hours to watch because I had to stop the video to think, the tears were getting to me. Feeling like there's nothing I can do, knowing that watching this video also won't change anything. It's killing me. Every day I wake up, get ready for school, go to school, procrastinate and go to sleep. That's my life. My grades are shit and I constantly remind myself how bad I'm doing. This causes me immense stress, panic and anxiety. No wonder my life has no meaning, I need to create that meaning. I feel that I'm too weak, that the pain is too much for me to move forward. I know that if I really tried, I could change, but I also know everything It's gonna take to make that change happen. One thing I'm sure of is that it's worth it, since I can't imagine it becoming worse than it already is. I doubt anybody would read this, considering we all care mostly about ourselves. Heck, I used the words I and me like 20 times only in this comment. But hey, you are reading this aren't you? I am deeply grateful you took your time to listen to my problems. I told them to my friends but what I realized is that the only thing they can do is give me advice. But I don't need advice, I know what I need to do better than anybody else. There are no shortcuts, just pain. At the end of the day I am the one that has to take the action to cause that change which I so deeply desire.

Shomi, if you are reading this, it is actually 5:20am for me and i have been awake working like a maniac on something of my own. What I hear from you is that you feel defeated and i don't know what experience you have been through but I don't need to know the story to recognise trauma. You have been deeply hurt and somehow you stopped believing in yourself and that others care. Start small. Make tiny steps each day. Try to zoom out and look at your life from the point of your higher self or older self ( let's say 50 years from now on). Think from that perspective. The way you are feeling right now about yourself is going to change. It doesn't stay permanent. How it is going to change depends on the choices you are going to make now. Start small. Make a list of one thing that you are going to do for yourself daily. As an example, " before i eat my meal, i do 10 sit ups''. That's it and do them every day. Don't make the task bigger but make it enough challenging to uplift you but not too challenging that you wouldn't even want to even start. Keep a diary. Manually do the check every time you accomplish sit ups and make yourself accountable. No matter what, do those 10 sit ups. Check yourself in a month or two. Small steps every day can change your perspective about yourself and that's where you begin to shift your belief about yourself. And gently remind yourself that healing is not a linear process, it comes in waves. Find a good support system who will challenge you and keep you accountable. Hope this is somehow helpful. we are all going through our own battles. We just need to live from their hearts more, speak up and live our true selvesto realise how powerful we truly are, together.

@@val_r1143 _"... So do you prefer to live with regrets for not trying anything ? ..."_ Yeah. I would prefer to live in a world with unbroken need - realization or need - satisfaction cycles. You don't have problems with your breathing only 'cause your respiratory system works properly and you have plenty, a great abundance of air. (At least, right now ...) But just pull a tight plastic bag to your h@ad, and you will experience this universe that way how gazillion of people experience it. That will show you the whole picture. The be@st after the beauty. That would make your eyes to open. You have a need, you make the appropriate effort, and you get the satisfaction. That is life. Need - effort - satisfaction. Any of those misses, broken, not in balance, life stops, or stops to be bearable. You get hungry - you make the effort - you are bellyful. In the very best case it is joyful as fk. You h@rny - you make the effort - you get the girl (or whatever). In the good case it is joyful as fk. You want to work, build something, have clothes, have children, have a family, a place to live, to sing, to dance or just to walk, or anything, you feel the need, you make the (well balanced) effort, you get the thing in its appropriate time. That is life. The very meaning of this fkg life. I mean it would be. 'Cause most of us live our lives with a fkg plastic bag on our h@ads. 'Cause this life is fkg sh@t. You will have the need, sometimes the effort, but you get the satisfaction only in the rarest cases. Almost always just the broken need - satisfaction cycles everywhere. We all are just the slaves of this universe. _"... I would rather have try something than doing nothing because too much risk. Nothing changes if nothing changes ..."_ Yeah. I was like that, too. But in one moment in my life I broke down, and I looked at this life without my wishes. Without my narrative how I would like this life to be, how I'd like to see this life. But only as it is. (It helped me a lot, that I wasn't too self-lying before that point either, that I was broken down very - very deeply, and that I tried to speak with the most lovely creature what I ever saw on this earth, and that thing found me unworthy even to speak with me, not even for money. When that was her very job, basically.) So everything focused together in a single "point" in my (so called) life, and I could not come out from there as a whole. Now I don't believe in life anymore. You can do whatever the fk you just want, it will work or not. I don't even believe in free will anymore. Even your thinking is only an "instinct". Only you are proud of your "thinking" and you're not proud of your instincts. But there is no real difference between the two things. Not conscious, not out of any free will, neither of them. And now I say, that not a single good word to a life like this, anymore. I don't move a finger for it, anymore. Not a good word, even. This life is only a t@rt@ring machine. And if anybody don't say that then that somebody is just lucky. Other people pay the price for that one's ignorance. 'Cause there are only two kinds of the happy or balanced people in a universe like this. The blind and the cruel. Or both. _"... It’s risky but believe it can happen for you my friend ..."_ Yeah. First, I'm not your friend. I have no friends, already. That would be a very great good word about a life like this. (And I warn you, this life gives everything just to make it possible for itself to fkg take those away.) Second, I don't believe in you. The last thing what I tried to believe was the most lovely creature what I know on earth. And she was fkg f@ke. And lastly, it's just another unfulfilled promise made by a d@lud@d, d@mb human. Man, I am homeless 😂. I run a painting business out of a tent. It is “successful”, but the best part is, i am finding all of my pains , weaknesses and everything. I promise everyone here, there is no excuse, anything is possible. I know it’s all been said before, but it’s true. Opportunity, exists, you just have to take a leap.

This video is incredibly motivating! The message about embracing change and pushing through obstacles really resonated with me. It's a powerful reminder that growth often comes from discomfort and perseverance. Truly inspiring content
