No Rocket Science for

Sometimes I'm lucky the record a song in one take.
This is one of them.
For the melody I use a Midi file that was original some kind of string quartet with bass, mid and high strings. I made two files out of it. One original and one with only bass and mid.
When I started this track I thought about making a Lo-Fi HipHop track with this Midi file and classic strings, but when by accident the sound changed to this massive swell synth it became this trance song.. :)

This one is definitely my favorite by far!!! The toms give it that Dutch feel and that vocal melody gives the track great vibes!!!!! Yeah I'm keen to expand on my TR-6S with an MC-101. Use the TR for the Drums/Percussion and FM, then use the MC-101 for everything else. The synth strings and melodic elements on this track you wrote are fantastic. Bravo. You can import and play midi on the MC-101...or was that from your DAW?

Does the 101 force one of the tracks to be drums or can they all be melodic/harmonic synths?

You can assign al tracks a you like.. 1 drum and 3 synth or 3 drum and one synth.. 😀 If you like to work with samples a lot you can put 16 samples in a drum track.. 💪
