Hi, I have only been using an circular knitting machine for a few months. Your videos have been a big help! I got after Christmas of 2022 because I wanted to donate hats to the homeless the next Christmas. I know I couldn't crochet the amount I would love to do. I was able to give over 150 hats to the homeless! I'm hoping to do more this year. Anyway, could please tell me they call the needles you use? I want to order some but I'm having trouble finding them. Thank you very much for being a great teacher!

I would add a long chain to tie both mittens together then, you can put the mittens in the winter coat and you can't lose them.

@@RetaWarren-pu8pn it’s just how I did it so the inside layer isn’t loose. You can do a single if you would like. Where I come from it is very cold. Double is necessary. 🙂

You could do a flat panel over 22 needles and seam it up the sides to make a small tube but if you can get yourself a 22 needle machine your creating options are limitless.

I just bought a Sentro 40 and the teeth are SO small that yarn just won’t stay on. I tried ten times to start a hat and the yarn just falls off. I’m proficient on my two Addis and Sentro 46, but the Sentro 40 is not molded correctly.

I also had trouble on the 40 when I first got it. I agree, the teeth are smaller and it takes a bit more tension than you are used to using in order to line up the yarn behind the hook. Don’t give up. Once you get used to it you will love it.

I think it would be very hard to get them small enough on a bigger machine. It would be a whole different pattern outline.
