I'm so glad! Just so you know how I changed this a bit for my older dog is that under the sheet I cut out a piece of vinyl fabric that sits under the sheet in case she wets the sheet I don't have to wash the bed but just the sheet and wipe the vinyl. :)

This is genius! 🤯 why haven't I thought of this before? Since I have large dogs I'm only gonna need a crib sized sheet which will fit perfectly - done! I can't handle how smart of an idea this is haha

Brilliant idea! I have med-large dog bed, for my 21 Pound little dog, it also bulky like yours, when she get sick sometimes, with upset stomach ache, and nasty number 2.., she like to do it in her bed, the bulky ones are hard to clean up, they get expensive after a while. I’m happy, I came across, your video! 😊

Get yourself a half yard or more of Vinyl fabric and put that between the bed and the sheet for pee or poop accidents. Will not leak onto the bed. Then you only wash the sheet. You can get used crib sheets cheap at thrift shops or garage sales. :)

This is a great idea in a pinch, and if you do happen to have a sewing machine handy you could easily hem the cut edges and they'd launder well for a long time.

The repurposed old sheets are a great pet bed saver and I am sure doggies feel quite comfy in them! I’m tell all my friends with pets! Hope the weather bypasses you, Lidia!

I have a dog with allergies and his skin stinks which has been a real chore keeping his bedding washed and him washed. I have looked for dog bed slip over covers but havent found any. My sons twin sheets is old and wore out so i think im going to try this and just wash the sheet once a week and the dog bedding cover once a month. I hope it works.

Depending on the size of the pet bed you could also use crib sheets from thrift stores for a larger dog bed. The elastic will envelope around it nicely and you wont have to cut a twin sheet. I used these at home and only have to wash the sheet rather than the whole bed. It has worked out great especially on the road :)

Funny I happen to come across the other day a dog bed made out of a man's large sweater. There is tons of different way to make them on KZbin. Gotta love it. Masking tape the arm sleeves with pillow, is the one I saw and shared with Caravan Carolyn. Great job!

Your pet bed is probably smaller than mine. I tried that but my pet beds don't fit loosely inside. If it's a tight fit Sasha will try to scratch it by digging into it and tear the cover. :)
