I did almost the same thing but in mine I put two whole pillow inside and sew it close. It is more inexpensive doing it this way and the best you can customized the way you like. Love your fabric.

I have to say I love this idea, and it will come in handy when we adopt our new dog around the winter time. I'm tempted to also do this to make a 'napping mat' for my toddler who loves laying on the floor lol

Love how your puppy adores the new bed. I made one out of a 1.00 vinyl table cloth this year, as a base for recycled bedroom drapes, which covered it. The table cloth was joined together with silicone adhesive in a tube from Walmart.

Great bed! We have four dogs, One likes to sleep on her bed on the floor, and one is kind enough to let my daughter sleep in her bed with her. The other two are nice enough to let my husband and I sleep in their bed with them. If you know what I mean. Dogs are awesome and I would not know what to do if I had to live without them. Everyday is special when you have the love of another person and a pet or a few pets.

A cool idea would be too make a bunch of those beds and give them to a local shelter for the less fortunate animals. That's what I'm doing. Except I'm sewing them together. I'm probably gonna make some for my cats too

maybe a video on dog art? I recently saw a pin on pinterest where they took the dogs paw and had it stand in ink and then stamped it onto a canvas, they then wrote the dog's name in calligraphy, just thought it was really cute and wondered if you had more ideas to build on top of this one :)

Thank you so much...I have a dog the same except he's a boy dog and named JJ...His name was Jake and I have a nephew named Jake so I felt a bit weird with a dog with the same name. JJ was easier for him and I like it...seems to suit him! His owners split up and he was living in a house with a small yard and the people wanted him to have more space. I have 2 other dogs and a large block so I brought him home. Mine is a Kelpie and I think Kona is too... I live in Australia.

I have'nt made one yet but i have a dog named SCRUFFLES=BOY Likes chewing chew toys and he eats human food, i let him eat a banana, he ate it, then an orange juice he got hyper that time, an oatmeal cookie, Cooked brocolli with cauli flower and celery.........He ate all of those food, like human.
