I might try that no guard for the bottom. I’ve been using scissors for that for years, been thinking about changing it up. I do the same thing for the sides, take the 3 guard straight down, it’s the perfect length. I also use scotch porter too, best stuff hands down, and cheap.

Some say (like the LiveBearded folks) to style your beard and go about your day before you trim so the hairs seat naturally where they usually will, which make sense... but some others say do not do style or put any products on your beard before you trim... so what is the right way? Could you do a video on this? Personally I like to trim at the end of the day after I have washed, styled and wear my beard all day so I can get the natural hair seating and then fix any points that I need, sometimes it works better than others, but this way have worked better than if I don’t put anything in it and trim because for some reason after I trim and style something always goes wrong... thanks!

wildbillinzero I have a pair and I’ve done just that with them. They definitely work but the fewer attachment lengths than actual hair clippers gives you little variety for length of the buzz cut. They do power thru hair tho.
