Just wanted to say thanks for this stream. My son continually drops his 7 Plus and with this I was able to pinpoint the issue, and reflow the IC. It may be temporary or it may last but at least we got some more time out of it.

Yes you can replace the motherboard. But that would be replacing the motherboard with a defect with another motherboard that will eventually have the same defect

This is a known solution for this issue. C12 pad breaks really often D12 also breaks, but not as often. but enough that it's a good idea to just do it anyway

How come I can fix this issue and make a couple phone calls and it'll work fine and then it goes right back to what it was doing , basically what you were showing in the beginning even if you go to voice memo the button doesn't work or if I try to set up Siri it doesn't hear me but I have been able to fix it temporarily by taking out the SIM card turning off the phone put in the SIM card back in and turning on the phone. If something was disconnected from the motherboard it just wouldn't work all together . And this phone is in perfect condition it's never been dropped nothing's ever been spilled on it . But anyways my question is how come I can fix it temporarily do you think it is fixable Without opening the phone up?

Because you're not actually fixing it by taking out the SIM and putting back. There's a broken trace that is intermittently making contact, causing it to work sometimes. It requires this repair process to permanently fix it.

If you're having Audio issues on an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, then ultimately it doesn't matter what could be going on. There's only 1 way to permanently fix it, which is what I show in the video

I’ve called several repair stores and they said it takes a week to fix and it would cost 150 to 200 an iPhone 7 Plus isn’t even worth 200 why charge so much when you don’t need new parts because all they do is straighten out a chip

Have you run into cases where this is actually caused by an update to 15.3.1. I did a software update but also dropped my phone about the same time, and I'm having trouble determine the root cause.
