Interesting that your first thought when seeing a bad opening, which we all know is possible with master set (especially this one with the handful good hits) is to believe the opening is staged and not that your opening experience does not even represent 1% of the total openings out there no matter how many your opened. So, I did the math and here's what I have for the tally as I was curious as well (Pricing is from 8/21/23) NOTE: The setup for each box will be = (Total $ / $2+ Cards of Value) BOX 1 = $138.15 / $111.26 __________________________________________ - Pack 1: $32.62 - Pack 2: $15.06 - Pack 3: $42.70 - Pack 4: $47.77 BOX 2 = $123.31$ / $92.49 __________________________________________ - Pack 1: $34.08 - Pack 2: $45.46 - Pack 3: $23.60 - Pack 4: $20.17 BOX 3 = $157.12 / $142.51 __________________________________________ - Pack 1: $45.82 - Pack 2: $27.83 - Pack 3: $24.82 - Pack 4: $58.65 // Now I want to compare this to The Professor's (This is with updated pricing): Professor's BOX = $109.06 / $102.56 __________________________________________ - Pack 1: $31.10 - Pack 2: $12.66 - Pack 3: $27.32 - Pack 4: $37.98 I also checked based on the date of the video and pricing of the time for each card, and from they're The Professor's pricing was valid for each card and the total being $88.90 he originally priced at. But something to take into consideration is the total is based on only cards of value, aka $2+ dollars, if you take the whole pack/box, as shown for any pack/box on the list, you will always have a bigger return. Also, something to note is that value only total in Box 2 ($92.49) is lower than even the professors updated total for value cards: $102.56 Now what does this all mean? Well, I think that with the value fluctuating so much, like compare Box 2 and 3, you have basically a 50$ difference. Which when a pack is 45$ I think that's a significant difference as it basically makes 1 pack useless in a box, making it 3/4ths worth the value by default. Meaning that you can more than likely get bad pulls like what the Professor got of less than $85. To go along with this, I rewatched a couple of unpacks on the channel and there were some bad packs that caused the value to tank to 90$ or under, as shown above with Box 2. Now onto the not so fun stuff... I don't necessarily think that bashing/making fun on content creator because of differing opinion is not alright, especially from what I would consider a part of the same community. Like if its an actual issue I think having an open discussion would be more professional as a respected content creator and at least get rid of any misinterpreted hangups you might have @BadBoyGaming. But so far it just seems like misinformation being said out of spite or dislike atm. Examples are: (2:20) "Dude's a fraud, a lie, and a scam, and he's really bad for the community but whatever..." This is a bold claim that is unwarranted because of what? This is what befuddles me, what exactly did he cheat, lie or steal from exactly? Is it because you think he repacked his CM packs for bad pulls? That wouldn't make sense as if he really wanted to do that, it would be way too much effort for something to lose their respect as a channel to be labeled as fraud. And if that is what happened then i'm in the same boat with you. (5:32 - 7:12) ...is this whole thing because of the camera overheating? Like my guy, people can have technical issues and considering he wanted to keep its authenticity because if he just suddenly cuts people would be more questioning why he cut when it's supposed to be him going through it in real time then didn't. Also, we've been having over 100* every day for almost 3 weeks, so if it's hot, ITS HOT. And to also accuse of him repacking cards for "shitty" cards, when that last pack actually had the most value out of all the packs? Smh... (9:15) He said he likes CM as a set and also said if you like cracking packs then do it! He never said to buy nothing but singles, he said in terms of value you would have a better chance of just buying the singles you want considering the value you get, like a lotus. As shown above, the value can go even less then that vs the cost of 1 box, and even less per pack, so idk if this is misremembering or choice-based hearing but this is an asinine take. (9:55 - 10:45) So that's another thing I don't think anyone know's each of the prices of each card offhand, especially if you don't open boxes on the frequent like yourself or if it's a new set that just came out with fluctuating prices as shown. This also a bit hypocritical considering there has also been instances of your own pricing or what you have considered "of value" even in this video to be equally questionable. Like I heard no bell rings or oohs/aahs for the 2 "Darksteel Monolith's" that were pulled, 1 being foil almost 20$, and then freaking over a 4$ Kozilek right after, so yeah... Point being is he said he was guessing, got close on some, not so close on others so again, if someone doesn't know of the top of their head, you're a fraud? That's a huge asinine take honestly then, since you can't even seem to keep your own pricing correct. Also, trying to get comments? Like last, I check that doesn't improve metrics, but I could be wrong, in which case could be a bit more understanding, but tbh this just feels like a very offhanded comment that has no merit besides to make The Professor a "bad guy" for just making content. (11:00) He has a sponsorship, and you're taking an offense to it? Is it because it treads into your territory when for the last few weeks have been talking about, you're repacking and patreon? sorry but that just seems like a straw grasp if I've seen any. That's the majority of it but not getting into each one just the ones that stuck out. If there is actually an issue going on, I would hope you would try to have an open discussion with The Professor instead of using your platform as a way to just spit vitriol at someone you're having a disagreement with, because it seems like that's what you want based on comments above and in the comments section like this: "@MosbergSwerve Idgaf, Brian's ran his mouth twice. the first pack in the video with the rollick and Kozilek was less then 60 CAD, second pack I think was under 20, the training center pack was the best (btw training center extended foil is more then the monolith or equal) and the last pack was less then 45, I think you may want to look at this set a little harder or focus on throwing balls at a child

I disagree with you. The sealed products for this set are all overpriced. Also, card prices are inflated when a new set is released. The prices will be going down as more packs are opened. These collectors packs should only be $30.00 each. I have seen collector boxes where the value was under $85.00. I am seeing far too many duplicates of cards out of only 4 packs. I have noticed this for several years with the collectors boxes. I was not impressed with the cards that were pulled from these boxes. Thank you for the video.

My impression of this guy is that he pays no attention to the secondary market and is super salty that people arent willing to gamble for cards they likely won't even get.
