As an ER nurse too. Screw nursing. Thank god for stock investments and learning about financial markets. It honestly saved my life. I can never imagine working anything inside a hospital again. Such miserable co workers, no one has ambition to do anything better outside of their work. Being around such bland people glued to TikTok/amazon. I would literally show someone some basics on the markets like looking at SEC financials /shares outstanding/ institutional ownership etc….5 mins later they’re back on TikTok watching useless garbage. I realized they have no hope or care to better themselves. Sorry for the vent. I like this channel. Dig it

You should make a guide on how to get into tech sales or what to learn starting from scratch to land a role

Hi Eric, I’ve been watching your videos over the past couple months. Loving your content. I noticed a lot of your students have degrees. I also noticed a lot of the roles they get hired for have a requirement for a bachelor’s degree. I’ve been a mortgage originator for 5 months now, selling B2C, I’m not loving it. I also never graduated college. I really want to break into the B2B space or tech sales space. I don’t know much about starting a new role like the one in this video. Do you think there are opportunities out there for someone like me? (thinking about buying your coaching) Do you have students, without degrees, that landed good entry level roles?

@@noah.hamrick totally possible and glad you’re getting a lot out of the content. A few students that come to mind without degrees and/or with similar experience to you is Miguel, Ivan, Lamont, Jason, and more (www.higherlevels.com/testimonials). I would say keep working your job even if you don’t love it while you look to transition, but especially since you have customer facing sales experience that should hold up well. Let me know if you have any questions along the way!

How old was Joshua out of interest? Would you say if you're transitioning fields into tech/fintech sales, would it be frowned upon the age at which you become an SDR?

@@george_h2979 not sure but he had worked as a nurse for ~5 years. I myself made the transition when I was 28 and we have several students that have been very successful in their 30s, and 40s, as well as 50s though not as many in that range are making that transition. Age is not frowned upon, you just have to convey that you’re serious and use your previous experience as a selling point because you are likely more mature and poised than the average candidate
