Shortly after becoming Catholic as an adult, my husband took me on a short vacation to San Francisco. There was a famous Cathedral nearby which I desperately wanted to attend as a high Holy day corresponded with our vacation. I was so excited to go until the cab driver informed us that the street in front of the church was closed for the Gay Parade! I kid you NOT. Make no mistake, this is a full affront by the evil one. @po18guy 😂 I know. I once heard a Priest lament that if there were only a universal language that everyone would understand the same message. I thought he was joking and giggled a little and looked around at the others who mostly just sat there starting quietly at him continue to speak. After mass, I waited to speak to him and reminded him of that part of his homily. I just asked, "Wasn't that the purpose of Latin?" He looked dumbfounded. The Church, rather than encouraging her flocks to learn it and pass it on, instead, oddly, dropped it and now, isn't it even forbidden for some (sinister?) reason? I understand they have their excuses, but as far as I'm concerned, it's just more cutting corners to fit in with the Protestants.

No, the Latin mass is not forbidden. Father O'Connor celebrates it each Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at OLG. Maybe your priest was referring to a universal teaching, which of course you would get in the universal (Catholic) Church

Nowadays, most (heterosexual) couples use birth control. And yet, you are willing (I presume) to see the Church bless these unions. It is the *union* which is being blessed, not any sins which might be committed within the union. / In the sacrament of matrimony, the ministers are the people marrying. The Church is a witness to this. The Church marries no one. / For a Catholic, *everyone* is a sinner. When the Pope gives his Urbi et Orbi blessing, he doesn’t limit it to the perfect, or he wouldn’t be blessing *anybody*. / If 2 people ask for their union to be blessed, be grateful there are still people who care about that kind of thing.

Viewing on Maundy Thursday 2023. The Pope has stated that the Church cannot bless sinful homosexual unions, but his calls for tolerance and charity towards these people have caused him to be misquoted by many, they falsely claim he approves of homosexuality. However tolerance does not mean approval. I do not like the way the German Bishops are in rebellion and hope that the Pope will not let them hi-jack the synod in the autumn. Re ' ordination' of women, did not St JPII rule definitively on this issue [ex cathedra] in 1994?

In my home state of CT, it’s a very liberal state. And why? Because the state of CT and the governor of CT Ned Lamont allows LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 to be accepted. But I myself am adamantly opposed to LGBT rights as a Catholic Christian and a Knight of Columbus. Why? Because I believe that marriage is between man and woman. Nothing else. And LGBT people say that the Catholic Christian faith should make LGBT people feel welcome and accepted and not excluded but I strongly disagree. And in fact I have a friend of mine who’s a lesbian and a advocate for LGBT rights. And I told her that being homosexual is morally wrong and that she should stop being homosexual and repent. But she won’t because she believes that God has created to be homosexual and I told her that’s not true. And the more I disagreed with her and argued with her, she became easily agitated. And so did I. And whenever I get into a argument like that. I vividly remember what it says in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. And as for LGBT people being accepted in the Catholic Christian faith, absolutely not!!
