@@waterisbased The thing with that kind of propaganda is that you have a handful of groups, be it adversarial governments like Russia and China are to most western nations, homegrown extermist groups, or even a mix of both working together when their goals coincide, purposefully propagating ideas to create further divison within a nation's population and destabilize their current government, impeding on their ability to follow with their current foreign policies, weakening their position within the nation's political horizon, etc... Nowadays it often takes the form of waves of social media posts, using bots or actual humans, which is then, unknowingly or not, parroted by people influenced by them, which, akin to dominos, results in even more people being influenced by that propaganda campaign and doing the same. In the end, the talking points made for that propaganda campaign end up so entangled in the public perception that you need to go through painstaking efforts, lasting years if not decades, to clear out the misconceptions on a wide enough scale for these talking points to die out. But, unfortunately, the people who benefit from these propaganda campaigns don't just wait for the previous talking points to die out before putting new ones out, making for an impossible battle to win. All that to say, we shouldn't underestimate the sheer amount of actual humans who fall victim to the waves of bots and unknowingly spread all that nonsense further. We may have seen a recrudescence of Russian bots in the last decade, but they, despite being instigators, still only make up a small portion of the overall discussion. In the end, resuming it all to them mostly being bots only reinforces the position victims of these propaganda campaigns hold, as they inevitably feel attacked whenever someone says that "most people", which is mostly interpreted as "all" rather than "big subset" by the human brain, who hold similar views to them are all bots. The goal shouldn't be to indirectly reinforce the propaganda, but to weaken it.

You are right about that the west definitely hasn’t fallen and that a lot of the people on the internet are making it seem way worse than it actually is. With that being said I think the west has a lot of problems that it needs to address in order to remain dominant and many people on the internet like to focus just on the problems because they are from first world countries and are therefore are used to a high standard of living that seems crazy to foreigners from less developed countries. The us education is terrible, its just that it's the least terrible Life is hard everywhere, they say it's better here and it is but with no perspective of why it's better people will focus on what's not the best and start to believe it's the worst like you and gattsu and everyone says, it would be awesome if these conversations spawned debate on solutions and not just debates on who better understands how fucked up it is

Gattsu sees himself as political liberal in the US-American sense, maybe because of his strong dislike against Russian propaganda ("the west is so bad everything is better here") and the corruption and double standards of "non-bureaucratic right wing" politicians. Therefore he often does not want to take the existence of problems, that are often brought up by conservative or right leaning people, serious. Here is the thing: He could see gender obsession (hormones for children, gender-affirming surgery payed by health insurance, everyone can choose their pronoun...) as problematic and still not fall for Russian propaganda against gay people. He could see the problems of de-industrialization and still be for a greener planet. He could see the problems with different VISA systems, but also see why VISAs are necessary. He could acknowledge problems with Islamism in France and Belgium imported through migration and still be for religious freedom. But his videos are sadly always very one sided ("I made vacation in Paris and there were no big problems for me. Andrew Tate is a sex offender. The west has not fallen.").

The entirety of South America is a cesspool because it's a criminal empire. The whole continent of America is cursed safe for Canada. But know that you are one of the more extreme example. Seeing a lot of criticism in the comment section. There are some points that I agree with, but I think for me the reason why western europe is so fascinating for eastern europeans is sense of security and how well state functions. I’m Georgian as well, I love my country and I understand that it’s safer and more prosperous than most of developing post-soviet states, but constant economic and political crisis, lack of opportunities, region that is a literal geopolitical time-bomb and neighboring goddamn Russia that constantly wants to invade you and conquer you feels like a way more significant problem and threat for existence itself than some riots and dirty hoods. Countries like this feel like sitting on a keg full of explosives, even though we are not dying of hunger.

I agree with most points but damn, it was not the experience i had when i was in Paris in the beginning of July this year. There were a LOT of homeless people in groups in the center of Paris, I remember one of them shouted at my female friend about something. There was trash everywhere, the more people there were, the more trash I've seen. For me it didn't feel that safe but being with friends made it better. Also at the end of the trip, I was going alone through the metro and some french guy would ask me and some old lady something in french but I told him that I don't speak french in english, later when there wasn't anybody around, the guy walked up to me, started shouting at me in french and was saying "London? London?" He thought that I was british and from what I understood he told me to never come back to Paris and slapped me hard in the face and walked off. It wasn't a very nice experience, and damn, most cashiers in stores didn't speak english at all. Your experience was very different but I cannot relate to it at all.

I have a personal friend who was stabbed in his first hour in Paris outside a Major tourist area because he confronted the guy who was trying to pickpocket him. The their got away and the police said there was nothing they could do. then he had to go to the hospital to get a bunch of shots in case there was other people's diseased blood already on the knife. Later that day he saw a car get set on fire in the middle of the road. I have never in my life seen a car get set on fire in my country.

I'm pretty sure it's a "grass is greener on the other side" type thing. Both the east and west have benefits and detriments to living there but it's difficult for a person who lives in one to understand the struggles of someone who lives in the other. He's certainly overlooking a lot of problems about the west but most "the west has fallen" type guys are overlooking most problems in the east because they've never experienced them first hand. Overall as a westerner i have to say the west's problems aren't so bad that I would rather live in Mongolia or something. All places in the world are flawed so it's pretty dumb to think that the west is falling because it's not a Utopia (although i don't really see the west getting any better in the future due to the decreasing birth rates and other problems)

6:28 While I'm pretty sure Andrew Tate only said this in order to cast doubt on the allegations, this is an actual problem I've seen here in the United States. While I'm not sure how it is in Georgia, in the United States it's possible to hear about women who falsely accused men of rape and for that man be arrested and/or have their social life ruined because of it. Only in the end for the women to reveal that she was lying the entire time, but at that point the damage is already done. If you look "false rape accusations" in google or KZbin, you'll find plenty of examples. While I'm not sure how common it is, I know that it's extremely damaging to the victim and there is barely a punishment for the woman besides a legal slap of the wrist.

@@tristanband4003 No, it's not fine. Too many innocent men have had their lives ruined or changed negatively from how people treat these accusations. Rape accusations should always be treated seriously of course, but people need to remember the idea of "Innocent until proven guilty." An accusation alone should not be the basis for considering a man a rapist, especially when you consider the fact that anyone can make such accusations without evidence. Actual evidence that proves or suggests the validity of the accusation should be the determining factor in whether or not a man is guilty. While I don't want to assume your experiences, I highly doubt that you been accused of rape, been through the humiliating process of being seen as a monster, have lost friends, family, work, and possible schooling due to the accusation, have experienced the aftermath of such an event where even after it has all happened and you've been proven innocent, people still see you as a monster due to stubbornness and/or ignorance, only for you to come out of that horrible experience believing that people should assume that a man is guilty of rape based on an accusation alone. It's possible, but I doubt it.
@FirstnameLastname-zq8oy

False rape allegations are still very uncommon in the US, I definitely wouldnt say it happens commonly enough to be considered a problem. Yes of course if you google false rape accusations, you can find examples of it happening, nobody is saying that false rape accusations never happen. But the point is, statistically, false rape accusations are very rare compared to real rape accusations, it is just typically pretty difficult to prosecute rape compared to many other crimes unfortunately, so many rape cases dont end in conviction. Yes, false rape accusations are very damaging in the cases where they do happen, and the people who make false accusations definitely should false legal consequences for it if the accusations can be proven to be intentional lies, but a lot of incel / "red pill" type people online like to make false rape accusations seem like a big widespread problem in countries with more gender equality where the actual reality is that the amount of people who rape / SA someone and get away with it without legal consequences is FAR higher than the amount of people who falsely accuse someone of rape, and you are FAR more likely to know someone who has been victim to SA / rape than someone who has been victim to false allegations. That does not make false allegations ok, but like I said, a lot of misogynists online intentionally try to make it seem that it is way more common than it actually is in order to manipulate others into immediately disbelieving alleged victims whenever they come out about their experience with SA / rape.

I grew up in the hood in London and I totally agree. Despite what you hear about the stabbings London is a safe city. It’s not exactly the cleanest city but it doesn’t smell like piss all the time. And the people you’ll meet are great. A lot of negativity is hyped up by the media for attention and for political fear-mongering. A lot of it is pretty racially charged as well. Most of the gang violence stays within the gangs themselves (even though civilians are sometimes sadly accidental victims) The only problem for London is how it’s becoming very expensive and mass gentrification is taking place. Normal working people can’t afford to live here anymore and are moving out. There’s now an exodus of working class former Londoners living outside of London in places like Essex and Kent. There are entire towns on the border of London built just to house these people and they are depressing AF. This also brings the drugs and gangs over to these regions as well. Meanwhile there are entire council estates in central London that are completely empty and are basically run by the gangs. That’s something that the media doesn’t really talk about.

Listen, the West hasn't fallen but goddamn is it not going well bruv. I lived and still live in Belgium and believe me when I say that different ethnic groups DO NOT live in harmony (Chechens fighting Moroccans, Albanians hustling for control in Antwerp, massive crime conclaves in almost every major city,...). Add the fact that the port of Antwerp is responsible for almost 70% of European cocain import, Brussels is literally plagued with crack addiction (if you walk around the MAIN stations, not the hoods, you can still spot dealers selling drugs DURING DAYTIME) and taxes are extremly high but the gouverment is literally shitting on us the normal civilians, trust me when I say that just visiting a country as a tourist is much nicer than actually having to deal with the daily garbage. We have good beer tho, so drinking away all the problems helps

You're experiencing the same thing Bald is experiencing. It's the best the country/city has to offer and you're experiencing it in a small window of time. It's why you thought Paris was great and why Bald thinks a place like London is shit. You can make a very strong argument for the west being better than the impoverished east, but you're still only experiencing a glimpse of that location. Something comparable would be here in the states many kids run off and attend some university in another state. They might live there for years, but only end up experiencing that city within their college bubble (which is VERY much a bubble). They likely won't have anything bad to say about the larger area/city as a whole, cause they were essentially a tourist. Ask anyone that was born and raised there and you will get a different response.

Exactly. The argument Gattsu is presenting makes no sense because his view of France compared to Georgia is skewed based on a couple weeks in the nicest part of the country as opposed to a country which literally was at war 15 years ago. A very disingenious image of Western Europe is being painted as being this paradise where everyone of all cultures and creeds live in harmony or some other kumbaya bullshit, but ask the average person who actually lives in these countries (no, it isn't just grifters like Tate who say the West isn't in the best shape) and they'll completely disagree. Gattsu, I like some of your content, but if your idea of having "boots on the ground" is being a tourist in a certain country for a couple days, I have to burst your bubble. Tourism, like you clearly mentioned in another one of your videos, is meant to portray the best image of your country, kinda like North Korean tour guides do by explicitly telling you not to dig up all the dirt there is. This video is full of anecdotes so let's ground ourselves with some facts: birthrates are falling in the west, communities are disappearing, trust is falling, the increase in suicide is higher, the average young adult has no hopes for the future, in part because of the culture and in large part because it has become impossible for new generations to even dream about owning a house of their own. I have lived in both the west and in third world. In the third world, I could buy a house without a mortgage, and while it is not much, it is something I could call my own. I have cousins who are in their 20s, already have children and live in their own house. And that is statistically still the average over there. In the west however, me AND my girlfriend both cannot get a mortgage of 200k Euros (which is not nearly enough to even buy a small apartment) even when both employed on a decent job. There are several valid reasons why one would go live outside of the west today. One thing I agree with you is that women™ is not a valid excuse to escape the west.

@@introspection827 I agree with everything you say, but these comments are sadly going to disappear in the algorithm. Gattsu clearly made it his schtick to portray one side as all being Tate-fanbois, and strawmanning what people who actually live in the West and who don't have rose colored glasses on say. Btw, I'm Belgian, so yeah I live in the West. Brussels isn't a hellhole as Trump portrayed it, but there are areas where you better do not walk at night and even in the touristic spots, women have been harassed considerably more by "new" Belgians than the locals. Both sides are mental: the Tate degenerates, and the Eastern Europeans thinking the West is a beacon of light that has it all figured out.

interesting, i've experienced the opposite. I lived in South Carolina (Spartanburg specifically) from birth till 2 years ago when i turned 28. I moved because I felt there was no real community. It felt like in the South people will smile at you and offer you hospitality, but what lives in their hearts is typically quite different. “The worst parts of a country are bad” yeah no shit, if you go to the worst part of Cameroon or Bulgaria they’ll be bad too, what a stupid statement. Every country has problems but spreading lies about immigrants ruining countries when they actually raise its GDP is clown behaviour. The funniest part is sometimes people from countries that have lots of immigrants moving west will be the first the say the west has fallen, like make up your mind.

I do believe that people are overacting that the west is "falling." However, I do believe that it is in decline and some guy visiting a tourism hotspot in western Europe saying how great it is gives me the same vibes as some guy visiting Dubai and saying how nice the middle east is.

@@thecosmos729it's funny because usually it's the exact opposite, tourist hotspot = bad, the rest of the other countries are good Edit: also, there's really nothing wrong with going into tourist hotspot, really at the end of the day, it's depends on the context and you, the individual. I lived in Bali, another well known tourist hotspot, and you can go there and think the rest of indonesia is like it, because honestly, it kinda does, though I will recommend you to go outside of the big cities if you want to truly experience it

@@thecosmos729Edit: I also disagree with the whole "the west is in decline", because if that's the case, the entire world is in decline. Honestly, I have never been to the west before, but just like gatsu, i didn't have the privilege to be born in those countries, I think people who said things like this are just pessimists, doomers, or people who are not really grateful. I can see why people would think like it, but every countries have their own ups and downs, no countries are perfect, life sucks life hard, sometimes you just need to slip through the cracks, and sometimes, it's all depends on the individual on how they can get themselves out of a really shitty situation

@Gattsu I love your videos and agree with what you say on most of your videos, but I got to be honest with you. The West hasn't fallen, but it's far from the paradise you make out to be, especially if you live in the U.S. and aren't rich. Right now, inflation is stupidly high, and the cost of living is pretty bad to the point where you'll either be homeless or be unable to find the shittest apartment to rent unless you can find roommates or just live with family. Corruption is high, and crime is getting worse in the big cities and some small towns due to the reasons above, with drugs adding to it. There's constant civil unrest, and the public is divided on many problems while our leadership ignores things like Maui and focuses on foreign affairs and putting millions or billions into that instead of the nation. So yeah, the West that you considered "great" isn't great and may not collapse today or tomorrow, but it will eventually, just not in the way envisioned that losers like Bald and Tate think it will.

It's not fallen completely, but the West is definitely declining. As someone who was born and raised in Britain (and still lives there), it has hit its peak. It's easier to get annoyed and sick of whqt you're familar with and I understand your grudges with Georgia. But here’s why some look at Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China with rose tinted glasses- the opportunity to improve is definitely a thing. Although I will say as someone with a Dad born and raised in China, how much such a place can improve in the next 30 years is very subjective. The opportunity for the West to improve is finished because everyone has become complacent. Instead it's everyone arguing over luxury beliefs and social programs. But of course, the West has questionable age demographics and some can't work out what a man or woman really is.

You dont even know that tho. What makes you think this is any other than an economic downturn? And what I've noticed that people like you really mean when you say "the west can't differentiate a man and a woman", you always seem to imply traditional gender roles as if that's the only option. A woman does not have to do feminine things, that's the beauty of the west.

As a Romanian, I agree. Most Romanians think of Britain as some sort of heaven. Here people always envy the west and believe that Romania will always have “corrupt politicians and corrupt priests”. But as someone who visited Britain, although you have nice architecture and history, I would not like to live there or raise my children there. You have lgbt flag everywhere, even in kids toy shops and schools. You dont have religion. Your country doesnt even seem like a country. In Romania we are 98% Christian, we have tradition and culture.
