Great time to do it, sounds like most grass type seed could be 25 to 50 percent higher next year do to the drought. I plan to buy all my seed for next year the week after thanksgiving to make sure I have what I need. Buying my seed corn as well, not going through what I went through this last spring!

Sounds delicious! Just add some early spring onions and some raspberry dressing and you've got a high protein salad bar going on. Keeping fingers crossed you get a big buck. Be safe. Enjoying the videos very much.

With that mix by early spring your gonna get some good solid fat calves and healthy momma cows. We have taken champion dry grass hay 2 years in a row at the expo forage bowl with tall fescue

Can't go wrong adding legumes to pasture. We started using a yellow blossom creeping rooted alfalfa in our mixes. Tough and apparently non bloating. Think it's called Anik.
