Colby, I don't know you at all and I've only watched two videos and this video thus far, but I just wanted to say that you are FAR more mature at 22 than 99% of folks out there, including a few of my own relatives. One in particular that I truly wish had been a mature human being instead of wasting life abusing alcohol and drugs and treating people, including family, like trash most of the time and trying to figure out the best angle he could use to further his selfish addictions and his need to hurt others. Fortunately for him and him alone, he had a parent who enabled his every action, good or bad, mostly bad, and he never had to ever accept a single responsibility for his choices. I really wished he could have changed before it was too late, but unfortunately, he died 3 years ago this December, after wasting almost all of his life not only abusing alcohol/drugs, but being a pathological liar and manipulator (reminds me so much of the person that I believe you were directly speaking to in this video) - but, someday, before he knows it, his life will be cut shorter than it could have been if he would have ever gotten a wake-up call, sought serious help, albeit through counseling, finding God or whatever - the sad thing is that my brother since he passed cannot see that really the only ones who truly cared about him and truly wanted him to see him change his life around were his parents (including the enabler-parent in some ways, although that's a whole other story) and his only sibling - me. For the most part, he's been forgotten since he passed - no one is feeling any deep loss by the lack of his presence. Both my parents are passed now and my only sibling (him) passed too - so, in all honesty, I'm the last one left standing of our immediate family, so I guess it's normal and/or fitting that I'm the only one here that remembers what my brother could have been, should have been for himself and for those who loved him, and what he truly missed out on in life - it hurts my heart thinking about all the what-ifs.....that said, I'm 99.9% sure that I am the only one walking this earth that feels this about him. The person you were basically talking to on this video truly has ZERO clue that the only lasting memories of himself he has created himself through his choices in life, through his lies upon lies, and his constant manipulation of literally everything to do with his own family member - well, all he will be is a big fat zero to literally everyone walking this earth. No one will give a crap he's gone, nor will they look back fondly on what a good and decent human being he was during his time on this earth - in fact, they won't even be thinking anything at all about him because there was nothing truly redeeming or outstanding for them to remember - he'll be here today and erased from memory tomorrow, leaving zero behind for anyone to admire whatsoever, and they will have all forgotten his existence in warp speed after he is gone. Sorry this was so long and probably boring to most, but your video today really hit me harder than I thought it ever would, considering you are just some random stranger on the internet to me. Keep up your good work, Colby, but more importantly, keep being a man of integrity, honesty, and yes, even humor, because that is WHO you are, young man.
