I was in choir from kindergarten through my senior year as part of speech therapy. I was born tongue tied and had a lisp and stutter too. The singing breath control really helped with the stutter. I also played piano by ear and can finger-pick guitar (but anything requiring strumming was not in my abilities). I hadn't sung in almost 25 years, since my kids were little, until I started listening to Upchurch. It feels almost as freeing to sing along with him as it felt to rid myself of that stutter - just in a different type of way. Thanks for sharing your passion with us. ✌🏼❤️🐓🙏🏼 HG OR

I dont make music no talent but I feel as passionate about listening to and learning about music as you sound about making it. Reading the liner notes on a new album was exciting, yes Im old lol. Ryan makes music for the young and the young at heart which is so incredibly rare. Some truths in this world never change so his music is modern yet somehow classic.
