When you look at there performances when they’ve won like Fulham and wolves they have looked nowhere near it this season. It’s more than just the 5 losses, they have been getting away with below par poor performances most of the season!

No excuse for city. Year after year we applauded them for their culture. For pep. No matter what players were on the pitch, they kept their identity and style. This is why year after year they’ve had great success. Also their bench/replacements are major stars. Now the fact they lost a few games we want to find an excuse because they are missing one or two players out of their dozens of 60mil plus players? This doesn’t warrant losing 4-0 and 2-1 to spurs. Or 4-1 to sporing. Losing to Bournemouth and Brighton. Not having Rodri or Diaz isn’t the reason they lost these games.

I’m a city fan and everything that Martin has said is absolutely spot on. I was there on Saturday and we are light weight in midfield, the press has gone and the defenders aren’t doing basic defending. These are city’s results last November to mid December. After drawing 3 consecutive games then losing the media reported city would not win the league. City results 23/24 period 4.11/16.12 Games played = 7 games Won = 2 Draw = 4 Loses = 1 Points = 10 points 24/25 2.11/15.12 Won = 0 Loses = 3 Drawn = 0 City have 4 games to play in the same period, judge with the points total by the 15th December to see if they are going to be in the title race or not.

If not conducted for FFP, they would have 3 more squads of 11 players to win the league again. When you play fair, you have injury issues that can hamper your title.

At his age, a loss of confidence is a tough one to overcome for Walker. The more that doubt is rewarded with another loss, the more it grows. City have to drastically change their tactics until the bleeding stops. They should consider parking the bus and countering. This is not what the opposition are expecting from City. They'll have to open up at some point.

Why's no one talking about citeh also missing Kovacic?? He's the only player in that midfield that'd put in a tackle or foul to prevent counters.. Midfield was so weak and porous yesterday it was laughable. You know you're having a terrible day when a player like maddison is dominating you physically in midfield smh

City could have been three up before Spurs scored. Haarland is not putting the chances away like he has previously. He's hitting the ball well enough, it's just not quite going in. The rest of the forwards are not compensating for Haarland's dry spell. However the midfield was dreadful against Spurs, lightweight and not strong enough in the tackle. Spurs ran over them. The defence has been ramshackle for awhile. Pep doesn't do defence, his Barcelona team's started to leak goals at the end of his tenure. He likes ball playing defenders even if they lack pace.

City are finished. Haaland doesn't want to run. It's either run or score goals he can't do both like Salah. Doku and Savinho both lack that killer instinct so they overrely on Haaland. Grealish,Gundogan,Kdb are in their last season at the club and on a rapid decline. Midfield lacks intensity. Even Rodri couldnt be described as having an engine. They are just getting run over with players like Silva,Kovacic,Lewis all way too weak. Walkers personal life and age has caught up with him and he looks finished. Gvardiol is never a lb so why play him there. Stones is horrfic for club and country. Akanji turns like maguire. Dias is class but injured. Also Foden is playing his worst ever football.

They just don't have the players to create the intensity needed anymore.Liverpools older players like Van Dijk and Salah are superhuman. City have a 33 year old De bruyne,a 34 year old Walker with a mess of a personal life. Liverpool have the younger hungrier squad with players perfectly suited to having the most ever games in a season. The reason i say this is practically half the team know they will be rotated. Barring Van Dijk,Trent,Ryan and Salah the rest know they will be rotated. They are fighting to improve their fitness like never before.

walker is no longer a top player. It's time up. Dias, leader of men and "chief bouncer", was not present. Rodri of course was not there to break up the Spurs attacks. Gundogan and Silva are now showing their age. Haaland and Foden are well out of form. Nunes was on the bench. He is a physical presence, fast and a great passer of the ball and should have been in midfield. I think also that guardiola should now for the time being become more defensive minded. Time and again City are being caught in possession and the opponent scores on the break. This is the first thing to fix since City cannot make this up right now by scoring more goals.
