No vinegar wrapping to clean shower heads

With so many bathroom cleaners on the market today, how do you choose the best shower cleaner?
One important aspect to keep in mind when looking for ways to clean your bathroom is whether or not the products are safe for you and the environment, as well as their overall effectiveness.
To clean your showerhead, the first step is to remove it from the overhead fixture to make the process easier.
To detach the showerhead from the fixture, turn it counterclockwise to unscrew it from the pipe extending from the wall. This will work for most showerheads.
Some older models may require you to use a wrench or pliers to loosen the showerhead. Take care when doing this that you are as gentle as possible with the tools. Using too much force may cause you to damage the finish.
Once the showerhead has been removed, hold it under warm, running water to dislodge any loose dirt or debris. This step will also let you get a closer look at which areas are completely clogged and need a more thorough cleaning.
Once the showerhead has been cleaned and rinsed, replace it on the shower fixture. Use the tools carefully to avoid damaging the finish.
Is baking soda environmentally friendly?
Baking soda has long been considered one of the most natural and eco-friendly household cleaning solutions. It is doubtless a greener alternative to bleach and other synthetic products.
How often should you clean your showerhead?
Most agree that showerheads should be deep cleaned monthly to eliminate limescale, which can slow water flow and encourage bacteria growth in your shower.

Great for the outside but, these shower heads tend to build up mildew inside. So after I clean the outside, I use an appropriate size plastic container and pour straight vinegar inside the handle to fill it up, then let it sit (nozzle up) for a half hour or so, drain in, reassemble and run hot water through to flush it out.

Always been a great believer in wiping down the backside. Keeps everything fresh and sparkling before you move onto the front....

This method is incorrect. Baking soda clean as well, but it does NOT disinfect nor kill mold. To kill potential mold inside and outside of the shower head: Add 1/3 cup baking soda & 1 cup white vinegar to a clean receptacle, such as a small bucket, etc. mix it together. Add enough hot water to totally submerged shower head. Soak for 2 hours, then gently clean it with a sponge or soft brush. Rinse well. Make sure to rinse out the inside of the shower head too, so the next time you use it, you won't get blasted with a face full of baking soda and white vinegar!

Just put it face down in a shallow dish of CLR for an hour. Afterwards, pour the CLR from the dish thru it a couple of times.

You can use but I wont recommend bleach bcoz baking soda takes out mold from shower head easily .. rest is your choice 🙂
