Though the volunteering visa is free, your organisation will charge you participation fee from 3500 to 4500 euros depending on your duration. Its not free, you should tell them. Also, you cant gain employment when you are in the host country. It will be considered illegal. This volunteering pathway is for rich people who wouldnt mind paying participation fees without earning it back.

Hello Cherry, I went through the steps and under 'Public Benefits' there is this clause that people should understand well. (You must be able to support yourself during your stay. You are not allowed to receive benefits under the terms of the Active Social Policy Act, e.g. social security benefits).That means you have to carry cash while relocating to Denmark.
