@shaunnaj56628 жыл бұрын
robin, happy friday☺. waterless marbling, kudos on these nails👌👍. have you ever tried {i looked but couldn't find any} using the glitter polish as one of the colors then striping it through with the others? i am going to give it a whirl, may work, may not. but if you already tried it & it was horribly unsuccessful please let me know. great job regardless, have a crazy good weekend, hugs, shaunna
@robinmosesnailart8 жыл бұрын
yes..........however, it is more more difficult because of texture and i dont want to attempt texture until i get filming these down to a science. i dont know for sure but i will place bets that water marble in a cup doesnt do a lot of glitters either for the same reaason.....the texture catches and you really have to be aware of that and go in with dimensions of thickness..it gets complicated and so i am working with very easy polishes with easy to find complimentary colors for the seasons for now....LOL..i just gave myself a headache...LOLOLOL.... i adore you shaunna and have a wonderful weekend!!!!

😍 do you wipe your polish brushes off before you put them back in the bottle after swiping the wet paint?
@robinmosesnailart8 жыл бұрын
i wipe my brushes every time i cross contaminate in any way and right before i put the polish bottle back together as to ensure a clean color. in this video i tried more than ever to showcase that. it is VERY difficult to get this on film under the time restraints, getting a good angle with no glare, making sure none of the polish begins to set, making sure i am in frame and then making sure the swirl i am doing actually looks like art and not a crazy mess! LOLOL.....so, just to be as clear as possible...i dip into the polish wipe, dip, wipe, dip wipe, until im done..then wipe it all and put it away and then topcoat...that way the design sets while i clean and i can stay on time :D xoxoxo i hope this helps!

Hello, I'm a new almost nail tech! I'm in school. This style is beautiful but how do you get them to dry with regular polish? The polish is seens pretty thick. We have not gotten to the gel part of things in school yet and we have limited supply ( like 6 bottles) of gel polish!!!! I put a french on a client today, 3 seconds after leaving she smudged it. I use quick drying top coat and the spray...ugh I'm not allowed to bring in my stuff except stamps. I might never be allowed to bring in my gel polish cause I was told it's not fair. Any tricks or tips ladies?????
@robinmosesnailart6 жыл бұрын
Jennifer white hello Jennifer! First congratulations on going to school and good luck with your success! I only use regular polish because I make all of my tutorials for beginners like you. I have a full playlist of no water marble on KZbin. Search Robin Moses no water marble and you will find the whole thing. I would watch each one closely and you will see how to adjust your polishes in order to get this look in many different ways. It will help you so much with your career. I have done nails for 28 years and have gone as far as I can go and so I am passing this on to those who want to learn. Please know that everything I use is less than a dollar per designed and it is my goal to teach as much as I can as affordable as I can without using lots of products. I hope this helps you and good luck! The first year is the hardest
@jgem89906 жыл бұрын
Robin Moses Nail Art Thank you so much for your advice. I kinda found you on accident and I'm so glad I did. I've been using some stamps at school because of time constraints but I would like to be a nail artist like yourself. I can get lost in nail art and lose my time lol, Im working on it. Thank you for sharing your experience. I promise I'll dig through your nail videos and obsess until I have it the way I want it lol. Stamping is garbage next to amazing art, thanks for the inspiration.
@robinmosesnailart6 жыл бұрын
Jennifer white it was accidental that I saw your post. However, I really hope that you subscribe and watch because I'm going to start enrolling things for beginners soon. I wanted to take a break and assess what I needed to do in order to create a school that helps artists it's instead of just putting up what I have to paint mostly on my clients. So I have been working on that at night diligently. It will help you so so much Jennifer and don't give up, most nail techs give up in the first year and probably close to all of them give up in the first five. But those who stay with it and have hand painting behind them do very well for themselves and can go anywhere in the world to do their job. Sending you love and thanks today!
