It was not only 5 people. I think there is hardly anyone in this game who would shoot that huge weak spot on top. That is pretty much why I do not play Foch. When I do, that is pretty much instant death, they hit that weak spot from the other end of the map.

But also to the luck to have such a bunch of opponents. alpine tiger, kobra, patton, M-VI-Y, and partially the obj 274 had no idea where to shoot the foch and i have taken more frontal damage from a kobra in a type 4 heavy (from HE) than he did. that is the main part of luck. when i have had over 7.5k dmg games in the torto it was always with a terrible team and a very slightly less terrible enemy team that fed themselves to my tank's strengths. like when you have already a 5-6k game and 3 lights are left and two of them (t49 and ebr 105) go and ram themselves on you to kill the last 40hp you have left and you get free 3k damage.... that is luck to find such opponents

To answer your question QB I took down a 1vs7 with my Luch and defended my base when it had just ticked to 100% but not completed. Respect to this Foch player for using standard ammo love to see it. French TDs are my favourite TD line because they can do good damage sniping often landing multiple hits before the enemy pulls back into cover, unlike single shot TDs where you land the 1 shot then the enemy goes back. The autoloader also allows them to make push plays against isolated opponents or multiple low HP opponents. And they're fast. Wish the AMX cda had an autoloader like the tech tree ones.

The only thing I don't like about the foch line is the 120mm gun you unlock at T8, that's it, it doesn't improve you don't get any more pen, granted 257 mm pen is great at T8 but at T10? Some heavies have that as their base armor value, how about giving the 120mm like 10mm more pen per tier after T8? They could literally have made all the stats go up by 1 or 10 and I don't think it would have hurt.

Well it was original singel shoot 120mm at t8 the 4 shoot mag 120mm at t9 and the round mag 155mm at t10 and 390 heat penn is enough at t10

Back when I still played low tiers, I had a 1 v 4 on Province. I was in my T1 Cunningham, and killed three enemies that were hugging their side of the map. At the time, I had a camo net, binoculars, and I think vents on that tank. It was me and another T1 Cunningham, and unfortunately... just as I was about to kill him, it ended in a draw. What really annoys me about it is that it also was the game where I've gotten my max amount of kills... 9/15. I had a similar experience at tier 5, in my KV-220. It was an encounter battle on Himmelsdorf, and I'd been hitting people on the hill. Four enemies left, one of which I remember was a D.W.2. I came down the hill, and managed to win the battle. I got a top gun for that one.

If he came with his teammates, this game would've been over. The fact that one player's absence caused them to lose the game (next to the obvious individual flaws).

Many years ago I was playing my Marder 38(t) on Mines and found myself alone in a 1 v 5. I was cornered on the north flank upon the small hill at A4. It was my luck that each player decided to take turns trying to kill me rather all of them rushing me at once. Needless to say I picked them off one at a time as they came up, which won the game and awarded me the coveted Kolobanov's Medal. Although I was in another game that was not a 1 v 5, but rather the last tank standing against 3 having already dispatched 5 during the game. I was playing my STRV 103B on Himmelsdorf. Like the Foch driver, I did not sit back and wait for my pray to come to me, I hunted the last 5 kills of that game (I like to be aggressive with my 103B). Again, I was successful at winning the game with final tally of 8 kills.

In cases like this, you need these to win: your skill, some luck, bad luck of enemy and noobs on enemy team. Just recently I had a game where there was left only me in LT and my SPG against 5 other tanks. They rushed against my SPG, they killed this SPG, but ignored me, so I could kill the enemy LT and TD. Then it was only enemy MT and 2 HTs left trying to cap the base, but definitely some non experienced players with rather avarege crew. Then it was easy, but also because it was an open map (Steppes), good for my LT.

You should try playing console again. They just added a tank with 4500 clip potential that can kill and E3 in 4 seconds so long as it finds 75mm or less armour. It also has some of if not the best scouting characteristics. It has broken tier 8-10. A video on the deplorable state of the WOT console would be nice from the bigger YT channels.

I'm a WoT Console veteran of nearly 10 years and the T249 Vigilante ended up being the final straw for me. In a period of LESS THAN TWO MONTHS we have gotten the Nightstalker, the Wiesel Mk. 1, a heavily modified (and blatantly overlooked) GROM, and now the Vigilante. NEVER have I seen this many toxic, broken premium tanks thrown into the game in such a sort amount of time. To me, this is a clear sign that the Console Devs know the game is doomed and they've now resorted to profiting off of its destruction as much as they possibly can until the servers are shut down. After nearly 10 years, I'm quitting WoT Console for good at the end of 2024. I just can't take it anymore. Just a very, very sad situation overall.
