Bisky is similar to Hisoka, but healthier. She wanted to mess with them at first, but when she realized their potential she wanted to help them realize it, as she doesn't just wanna fight and kill strong opponents like Hisoka, she has an obsession for seeing potential realized, like polishing the gems she loves so much. So her plans to mess with them went out the window really quick.

Hisoka also wants to see them shine and is willing to help along the way. They are the same. The only difference is that Hisoka has an extra step, fight them once their potential is realized.

@@rexibhazoboa7097 Well yes, obviously. I guess I didn't specify it but I thought it would be obvious from what I said. Bisky has an obsession with seeing potential realized. Hisoka has an obsession with fighting strong opponents. For Bisky, realizing the potential is the goal. For Hisoka, realizing the potential is a step towards the goal. And while Hisoka doesn't mind helping out, he would NOT do it if he had anything more entertaining to do. Meanwhile for Bisky, the teaching process is the most entertaining thing to do. So their motivations in what they do are actually very different.

@@yuciehayashi266 SPOILER ALERT I mean, sure, I also think that this Killua plot line wasn't very well done, because while we know Killua is haunted by his brothers voice in high pressure situations, it was also ALWAYS the correct play. Killua did not once run away when he should've stayed and fought before this plot line suddenly became central. So I think they really should've had 2-3 situations where Killua pussies out where we, the viewers, think it's stupid and he could've won. But instead, EVERY SINGLE TIME Killua does not want to fight, he is 100% correct and it would've been suicide to try. So while this plot is done poorly imo, you can't blame Bisky because the point was that she thought Killuas insecurity and instinct to run wether than fight would cause him to abandon Gon instead of risking his life with him when things get too dangerous. If we assume the plot was fleshed out better and we saw Killua nope out on some winnable fights, then Biskys assesment would've made 100% sense. So in a way, this is just the authors fault for not including some scenes where Killua actually messes up. And their friendship also was never destroyed though. The person who worked hardest on destroying their friendship was actually Gon lmao. When he kept being selfish and straight up terribly mean and insulting towards Killua throughout the whole Pitou situation. But Killuas good heart endured it all.

I think Bisky was a bit of a translation issue. At first she just wanted to fuck with them a bit for fun, then Killua annoyed her so she wanted to get a bit of revenge. Then she saw them in action and got frustrated/excited at how much unrealised potential they had.

Biscuit actually plays a pretty big role throughout the whole story, she’s not a main character but she’s a major one. Even with the stuff going on in the manga now she has an important part to play. She’s a beast!! I’m excited to see what happens next n what else she does in the story…and I hope we get some new chapters soon!! Cuz there’s a particular thing that I really can’t want to see play out involving biscuit and I’m betting it’s gonna be hilarious!!

Brisky is just someone really playful in a bit mean way, so she just wanted to harass them a bit. But after seeing their potential her true personality shined brighter and prefer to train them and see where they can go if they are polished :D

This episode shows Gon’s inconsistent and childlike morality. Despite Binolt being arguably one of the worst people so far in the story, Gon likes him because he helped him. However, Gon hates the Troupe and others who “kill people who have nothing to do with them” because they directly oppose him and his friends. He’s actually a much more interesting character than most people think

MAN, every time i see someone reacting to HxH i just get reminded of how fuckin fun it is, easily still my favorite shonen. its got the goated writing and characters with actual depth while still having the fun light-heared moments every other shonen has. btw, gon and killua have the best training arcs, their potential is so massive they just advance so fast every time.

Please try to keep Gon and Killua’s training session with Binolt in the back of your mind as you continue to watch the show. It provides really good insight into Gon’s character, similar to how Gon’s interaction with the Troupe provided a lot of insight on who he is. When you compare these two circumstances, you realize Gon really is just a kid with a rather incomplete moral compass at the end of the day. He hated the Troupe for killing countless people in cold blood, as well as because they hurt Kurapika, his friend. But, he liked Binolt in spite of him killing so many people, solely because training with Binolt was very beneficial for both him and Killua, regardless of the fact that Binolt was literally trying to kill them during training.

What I like about HxH is that you shouldn't take someone's words as an absolute truth. When Netero said TOP5 that means he only knows a few people he can say are better at using nen than Ging... but even though Netero has many connections, knows all the hunters and a lot of other people like the Zoldycks, he doesn't know ALL the nen users in the world so Ging could actually be TOP6 or TOP10 who knows...
