I'm keep it 💯 when I was a kid my family couldn't afford basketball goals so I remember taking a milk crate and took hours to cut the bottom out then went in my room grabbed 2 metal hangers and tied the milk crate to a fence at tennis courts that goal lasted years until we learned we could run up the fence and push off too dunk lol 😆 and that's how I learned play basketball as a youngin

You know why its so hard to make the shot: Relatively speaking, the normal basketball is way smaller than the normal diameter of the normal hoop. The small basketball is relatively wayy bigger than the size of the small hoop. Thats why you cant (easily) make it.

This would be around the same amount of difficulty if you used a rim slightly larger than a size seven basket with a size seven basket ball (same ball size : rim size ratio) as you have to get the centre of the ball to align with the centre of the hoop you could call it slightly more challenging as the ball has a larger size and mass meaning the centre of ball and rim is harder to find and the ball is harder to get to the rim meaning that the smallest hoop isn’t the hardest. (Edit) You could theoretically make this even harder as using the same ball size : rim size ratio would means that going from for example 3:4 inches you would get to 21:28 inches as both sides of the ratio are multiplied by the same number. However, using the same difference in ball size to rim size (rim size/diameter - ball size/diameter) as the mini hoop and mini ball means that with the same logic applied from before the edit increasing the ball size makes this task much more difficult.
