The thing with Incineroar is that it's based off of heel wrestlers who's whole point is the play a villain kind of character in the ring. So it is a 'fighter', but not a disciplined and honorable one like actual fighting types.

As a heel he’s not truly here for efficient fights, he’s here to fight and make a show. Be the bad guy, be flashy, show off to the crowd, fun personality.

For added context. Dark type in Japanese roughly translates to the Evil type which fits even better.

For more added context, the reason fighting beats dark is because it’s not only seen as the “martial arts” type but also the “hero” type, hence why all the swords of justice are part fighting 😉

So. With Incineroar. Its based on a Pro-Wrestling Heel. The entire point of the Heel is to play the role of the Villain, they talk smack, they fight dirty, and they always lose to a heroic and honorable Face Wrestler. They are the character you are supposed to root against. Which explains the Dark Type.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if they ever made a regional Variant that was a Fire/Fighting Face Wrestler because there is this thing in wrestling where a Heel can become a Face, this is called a Face-Turn. The opposite where a Face becomes a Heel is called a Heel-Turn

@@mycupoftea_1 I haven't seen the sun and moon anime. However he very much does have some wrestling moves in Smash bros and even in the games somewhat. When he was introduced he had two signature moves, Darkest Lariat, and Throat Chop(though later games gave these moves to other mons) and smash gave him suplexes, Back Breakers, and a Clothesline Lariat as moves.

Not gonna lie, the voice over gag at the start fooled me. I thought something was wrong with my speaker I actually enjoyed playing Let’s Go Eevee and loved having one as my nonnegotiable team member. That little fur ball was a monster; eating super effective moves like it was nothing thanks to the op friendship mechanic, and absolutely destroying with a stab swift

@@mycupoftea_1 Yep but Eevee only have the plot armour of Partner Eevee from Let's Go, Pikachu have Plot Armour from both Let's Go and his OP card in pokemon TCG...that's why they Lasted so Long, Pikachu was Top 2 and even without a big chance of Winning Eevee was Top 4, Blaziken Killed it right before left 3 pokemon remains ( Charizard, Pikachu and Blaziken )

I feel like Hisuian Decidueye got done a little bit dirty. It’s much more adept at close quarters melee combat than its green cousin and it can conjure arrows made or its own fighting spirit, almost like Lucario’s aura. He definitely wasn’t beating most of the fire types on the field but he could have put up a little more of a fight at least. Overall I agree with the video though, very close solid contenders but Blaziken with Speed Boost truly shines here.

Decidueye stress in fights when his plans dont go well. Hisuian Decidueye should suffer the same stress which means he could easly get caught off guard and terrified loses.

@@mega-ri7fj that’s Plausible but I would assume Hisuian Decidueye may not have that same weakness as it is more melee orientated. If you get past an archer’s perfect shot, that’s surprising, but Hisuian Decidueye is all about to close quarters fighting so I would think there would be some differences in there.

Ye but remember he is also Fighting a Pokemon that can sheat swords at the blink of an eye and Infernape is extremely fast like Hisuian Decidueye speed is 60 and Infernape 108 soo it attacks quicker which means he could counter quickly apart of being good at close combat has he uses his Agility and strength soo it would depend of how Decidueye fight

As an incineroar main in Smash Ultimate, hearing you all say every wrong move hurts. The rope is side B, down B is just revenge that buffs your next move, the move used in the video is back throw

While Rillaboom's return is hilarious, I agree it makes little sense, I'd say if Swampert were to be eliminated there, have Chesnaught last a little longer and have it take Swampert out. (Though the randomness is hand in hand with terminal montage)

42:49 New nerf idea for Blaziken that I literally just came up with: A move that's Gyro Ball (The slower you are, the more damage it deals) but ALSO Reversal (The less HP you have, the more damage it deals) Then you make that move the signature move of a Steel type with Sturdy (Pokemon ALWAYS survives the first bit of damage it takes with 1 hp)... And so long as it spams that move, Blaziken HAS to hit it eventually, so it can either hit it and get wrecked, or risk boosting it's own speed and getting wrecked.
