It’s just an idea but I think the reason why Shannan body was found a little further down than the others is because the other girls were killed at a different location and then dumped whereas I believe shannan was killed in the marsh and the killer didn’t really have time to dump like he did before bc it was the first killing that was out of order ie didn’t happen where he initially wanted it to happen wherever he was killing the other girls he always dropped them off at a different spot. I think the situation with Shannan got sloppy and he didn’t have time to move her before she was ultimately discovered.

If the defense plants a seed of doubt in the mind of one juror, resulting in a hung jury, the prosecutor should try the case again, and again, and again, at least once for each of the four victims, each of whom is entitled to justice. It's not so much to get a murderer to go free, it's to make sure that the State isn't just throwing people in prison without really proving they did it. You see how carefully the evidence was gathered and how meticulously the Prosecutor is assembling the case against this guy. The only reason they're totally buttoning this down is that they know there's gonna be somebody on the other side trying very hard to show that they're wrong. It's pretty obvious this guy did it. But we can't allow the State to arrest him and throw him in prison just because they're pretty sure. A lot of us Americans even don't realize that only a Jury of 12 other citizens has the power to put someone in prison. Not the police, not the DA, not the judge, not even the President - _only_ a Jury has that power, with their verdict of Guilty. And if the Jury says Not Guilty, that's final. Our government cannot imprison him, cannot try him again, and cannot appeal. So, the State has to work to gather as much solid evidence as possible, and put it all in order. It's not just that he owned a certain kind of truck - it's that kind of truck, _and_ driven by a big guy, _and_ whose phone was in the same location as these burners, _and_ near the victims' phones, _and_ at these places and times, _and_ at the times his family was out of town, _and_ with his DNA on the victims, etc. It's an interesting system to be sure, but it's what we have.

Two really big mistakes ppl commonly or accidently make with burner phones are, at any point in time having the burner phone turned on in the same location that the persons regular cell phone is or has been before. As well as not keeping a different "identity" linked to the burner phone by not having anything similar or the same that could be linked to the regular cell phone. I'd bet one of those two would be how they linked the burner phones to him.
@legendarygigolo823 Жыл бұрын
I imagine they just filtered the cell data to show which phone number or numbers were in the same locations at the same times as all the burner phones and his real number stood out.

So sad Shannon knocked on several doors begging for help on her 911 call. If one of those people would have helped her she probably would have survived. I don’t think she ran in to the swamp and died from exposure. I think she was strangled by her driver, the john or one of the other neighbors. I saw an interview with another male neighbor who was suspicious. Shannon’s body was found not far from his house.

There is one defense that you did not mention! There were other bodies in the same location! Was someone else the perpetrator? Its inconceivable that you have multiple serial killers dumping bodies in the same location. Hence did someone else commit the crime? The issue here is with other bodies, the police have to explain this! I think this is not yet an air tight csse

Multiple serial killers with the same MO? That might work with the other 7-8 victims but these 4 will be more than enough to put him away for life.
@jlnriddick Жыл бұрын
@@kwazimokava It's not assumed that those hairs came from his wife, it's verified. They collected soda bottles from the home and made a definitive match to his wife. I don't think that just happened in the last few days, but I guess it's possible. I don't recall anyone speaking of the three female hairs in any other way than stating they belonged to his wife, though there may have been some questions as to what they were attached to (specifically) to end up at the crime scenes. I believe the assumption was that they were attached to the burlap. BTW, who has burlap laying around the house in quantities large enough to wrap bodies in?

Been following this case since I the Disappeared episode of Shannon Gilbert's disappearance premiered on ID back in 2012. I always checked the internet for updates and there was always very little. I think the last update was the belt they found with letters that looked like an H M or W because of the type of print their weren't too sure. I always wondered would it be solved and if so would it be

Looking up a case , also contacting victims, he resembles the killer …. Etc etc. … he’s done. The defense will be pathetic if they try to defend a serial KILLER!!!
@paschallhouston Жыл бұрын
The Defense will and don't care as long as they are making money. Look at the Nikolas Cruz school shooter defense team laughing about when they talked about some of his victims and joking with him during court. But hey that is the behavior of most social justice warriors today.This is a high profile case and in their mind this will bring more clients to them especially if they win or the sentence is reduced. Most people don't care for anybody but themselves is why there is so much crime, murder, cheating, and why they are able to hurt others like this Jagoff. I don't trust nobody for this reason and people should know the world is full of sick trill seekers like this dude. He liked the pain he inflicted and wanted to see it in the families is why he searched them and I think even called them on the phone.
