A front license plate wouldn't have changed anything in this case. Even after they found the correct car and it's owner, there was still no evidence that he was the driver on that night. The best piece of evidence in this case was testimony, from the lady who testified against him that she witnessed him cleaning the car, the knife, and telling her to mind her own business. Without that, even the knife containing both of their DNA might not have been enough for a conviction. Front license plates don't do anything to solve murders, all they do is help the state send you petty traffic tickets more easily.

This “what’s my name?” thing only protects passengers and does not protect drivers. Especially when passengers use the app to order a ride for someone else and decide not to disclose that to the driver before hand. Also 90 percent of passengers do not use their real name or put up a photo. Drivers have no idea who they are picking up. Whereas Uber and Lyft give passenger’s literally all the info they need so stuff like this don’t happen. Passengers get a profile picture, license plate, car make and model and color.

If you feel threatened call 911. As soon as you get out of the car get the license plate # (even a partial could help police). Looking for this comment fr. She just was grabbing at doors and trying to get in without checking. Especially a woman getting into an Uber alone. Dangerous asf yet some people just don’t use their head.

They do this all the time at these clubs they don’t be knowing who car they going to … I had people walk up to my car before thinking I’m an Uber … definitely have to be careful out here and always verify your driver

The fact that there was a young girl chilling in his car while he was being chased... And her having nothing to say other than a one word answer to their question... Crazy.

His mother is just as guilty. At least Darrel Brook’s mom tried to explain why her son killed all them people, she tried to say he was mentally ill,. but this one is in straight denial. Lady, you raised a horrible spoiled child who grew up to be a terrible adult. How embarrassing for you…

It would be befitting if she got executed while he's in prison. That's the only thing that would hurt him.
