More than 2000 km ( about 1200 milles ) from portugal to wacken ( thank god you were 4 drivers ) and more 2000 to return. Next european tour the nearest i have its paris 2021 . , i have tickets, if the concert goes on i will be there , its only 1700km from lisbon to paris , but its nightwish and this time we are 25 to go , i think is easyer if i rent a bus kkkk

You are so lucky man.I'm 62 and still discovering bands. I've only been getting into Nightwish for the last 6 months or so but what a journey it's been already. What an incredible live band! I've booked to see them in Wembley Arena next year and can only hope it goes ahead. I've seen many amazing bands over the years but am still getting excited at the chance to see Nightwish. As a Finn, I have to admit that in 2013 I found this band. I've heard Nemo and Wish I Had An Angel songs on radio when I was young. That's all I knew about Nightwish. That all changed when I watched Last Ride of the Day (Live Wacken 2013). I absolutely agree with you. I was in Tampere in 2015 to watch their concert, it blew my head completely, Nightwish is phenomenal.

Please don't stop reacting to them Rocky, ive listened to them for 21 years and I still can't get enough, it is a life changing experience yes, but one that keeps on giving and delivering, if you stop now you are living only the prologue and opening foreword of the book that is Nightwish, so many more chapters filled with wonders you cannot imagine still await, and it is a book that is still being written. These guys are more than one concert they are a way of life and you feel that more than any reactor I have seen, it would be akin to a tragedy to watch you close that book and read no further....regardless, thank you for what you do, and this was a great reaction that I truly hope is not the last. And you are right the chemistry between them really makes you feel great as a watcher, they enjoy it just like the fans. Anyway you can continue the journey with Tampere and Wembley shows, which are twin concerts from the same tour, after Floor recorded her first album with the band. Not sure if you already did one of those songs but some of the highlights are Shudder Before the Beautiful, Yours is an Empty Hope and The Islander (Tampere only) and of course, 2 of their biggest compositions, The Poet and The Pendulum (Wembley only) and The Greatest Show on Earth.

Before you go on with other OUTSTANDING concerts of Nightwish (which I strongly recommend), perhaps you can react to (also like Floor) a Dutchman called Arjen and let's see if you're also a "Progressive Rocky Harder". 😉 The Source is the 9th studio album from Ayreon, a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. ‘The Day That The World Breaks Down’ is a song that features all 11 (well known) main guest singers [James LaBrie (Dream Theater), Tommy Karevik (Kamelot, Seventh Wonder), Tommy Rogers (Between the Buried and Me) , Simone Simons (Epica), Nils K. Rue (Pagan's Mind), Tobias Sammet (Edguy, Avantasia), Hansi Kürsch (Blind Guardian), Mike Mills (ToeHider), Russell Allen (Symphony X), Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus), Floor Jansen (Nightwish)] and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by what standards. Btw. The clip is 13 min. Long and I think you won’t regret it !! Official (Arjen’s) clip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXfYfn6ap9-Dp7c

Hey Rocky! I know I'm late to the party, but I just now stumbled upon your video and wanted to chip in real quick in the hopes that you see this comment. If you're going to buy the DVD please note that there was a mastering mistake that reduced the speed of everything by roughly 4% (difference from 24 to 25 fps). I think it was on the DVD, so the BluRay should be fine, but please double-check so you don't get disappointed. 4% might not be much, but it's definitely noticeable. There's a remastered video on YT with correct speed, if you compare the two, you'll hear it as well.

This is a great way to close a show. So much energy and power in this one. This show changed my life. I have always loved music in general and grew up in the classic rock age and lived through the beginning and heyday of the metal genre. As I matured and the metal grew angrier and more aggressive along with the vocals changing from melodic and powerful to dark and guttural I lost my passion for metal music. Don't get me wrong, I love dark and aggressive, but there is so much more to life. How about a little emotional joy and deeper level lyrical content? I found myself moving towards more melody based music, sometimes much softer and also more progressively complex music. Then about 1 year ago I found "Ghost Love Score" from this Wacken show on YT. Due to past circumstances I had lost interest in metal with female vocalists, and even though I had heard of Nightwish, I never actually listened to any of their music. Long story short, I was intrigued by the epic opening to GLS. My interest was immediately piqued as Floor began to sing the beautiful and soft opening verse. Then it happened, Emppu brought the power as he slid back into the music with one of his signature pick slides and Floor began to sing those 6 little words "My Fall, Will Be, For You". Suddenly my vision started to blur and the Floorgasm (frisson) started to overwhelm my senses. Had the world stopped spinning on its axis? It was as if time was standing still and the laws of physics were no longer in play. Those 6 words floated over the music for just shy of 20 seconds and my heart felt as if it had stopped as I without realizing it had ceased to breath normally. I was stunned, amazed, and emotionally on edge anticipating what was to come. Who was this goddess and where did this band come from? Then it happened again and all of the emotions came flooding back again even stronger! Ever since that first experience I have been addicted and re-energized in my love for music and everything Nightwish, and Floor Jansen. I know this probably seems extremely melodramatic, however I am one of those lucky people who are deeply moved by music. However, not just any music! It seems to me that you are also one of the lucky ones my friend. I have to believe that you have a musical background and a theoretical understanding of music? I love watching your reaction videos and look forward to the next one. Be well. Peace. "Last Ride Of The Day" We live in every moment but this one Why don't we recognize the faces loving us so What's God if not the spark that started life Smile of a stranger Sweet music, starry skies Wonder, mystery, wherever my road goes Early wake-ups in a moving home scent of fresh-mown grass in the morning sun Open theme park gates waiting for Riding the day, every day into sunset Finding the way back home Once upon a night we'll wake to the carnival of life the beauty of this ride ahead such an incredible high It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead This moment the dawn of humanity The last ride of the day Wake up, dead boy Enter adventureland Tricksters, magicians will show you all that's real Careless jugglers, snake charmers by your trail Magic of a moment Abracadabra Once upon a night we'll wake to the carnival of life the beauty of this ride ahead such an incredible high It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead This moment the dawn of humanity The last ride of the day

OK, now I binge watched all your Nightwish videos in few hours! And I'm on board for the rest of your journey cause I can see you feel it too! And when I think that you still didn't see The Poet and the Pendulum and The Greatest Show On Earth, OMG, what will you say about that! 😁 To make life easier for you, you have to do both of those song with lyrics, they are VERY important in both songs, so here are the links to The Poet and the Pendulum at Wembley kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3bdi4WDqc2bjrc and The Greatest Show On Earth live in Tampere kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJ2ZnYicfrKefa8 I just want to point that so far all the videos you saw were with original Nightwish drummer Jukka, who unfortunately had to quit playing because of chronic insomnia issues. So during the process of recording their 8th album Endless Forms Most Beautiful he asked his great friend Kai Hahto if he could replace him to finish recording the album and for the upcoming tour so he can deal with his insomnia before he comes back. Unfortunately he never cam back to playing and we miss him so much, his style and energy are just something else. But Kai is the perfect replacement, amazing drummer and person. Fortunately Jukka is still with the band in management department so that gives comfort that he is still there. So now when you do videos of later date you will see Kai. Maybe you already know that but I'm saying just in case, cheers! 🍻

@@RockyHarder you welcome! I noticed other reactors get confused with different drummers so wanted to let you know just in case you haven't heard about that. Yeah, really sad, I even caught his drum stick at the end of one of the 3 Nightwish concerts I attended in Tarja era, so he is very close to the heart of us old Nightwish fans. But good new is that these days his health is fine and he is still part of the band in management, so he didn't disappear completely from Nightwish family. Also Kai Hahto from Wintersun was his mentor once and is his big friend and is brutal drummer himself, so we couldn't ask for a better replacement. Here is the video where Jukka and the band announced his problem and stepping away from playing kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYiahX2ZqtqMnbM
