I think in terms of crowd excitement this one is my favorite. I thought I'd seen them all but KZbin finally recommended this one to me, after a mere three weeks.

I was camping in the U-haul near the road. What a wonderful experience.

raptor roost is a nice viewing spot. sick footage. wide angle gives a sense of scale and speed. thx for sharing. 😄👍

Agree - I have a decent studio monitors and subs setup in my office for music production, and its been shaking my house every night since 10/13. 🙂

ditto buddy. likely at raptor roost again for ift-6. I'm feeling good about 11/11 - looking into options as I write.

I don't care, this is my favorite video of the launch just because of the the reactions of the crown

Funny how the sonic boom reached the crowd JUST as the booster was landing... I'm sure a lot of people thought it had a problem.

Deve ser uma EMOÇÂO do caralho ver ao vivo assim.

.... I REALLY don't like to criticize NASA, but how is it possible that the shuttle and most of the other rockets NASA built almost ALWAYS had multiple scrubs and delays and postponements and whatnot, while Falcon 9 and now Starship just run like clockwork... Launch is at 7? Yeah, launch is AT 7! Damn!
@jellybean700024 күн бұрын
All the scrubs happened during the tank testing phases of Starship. 2019-2022. Large amounts of engine testing at McGregor also gives them so much data to create reliable engines. All that testing and practice helps alot

At 7:42 there seemed to be a second, faint sonic boom, about 45 seconds or so after the original sonic boom. What's that caused by?
@tobEwobEmusic26 күн бұрын
My understanding was that those faint ones were the landing booms reverberating.
@robyn05121 күн бұрын
@@tobEwobEmusicit was the hot staging ring which splashdown about 9km offshore. You could even see it falling below the booster basically the entire time

And wrong on each callout lol.

If talking about my comments (which were wrong about multiple engines out) The landing fires were confusing to many watching in person without viewing the zoomed in footage. Also we could see debris coming off the chine which in person looked like them losing a raptor.

The screaming would annoy the crap out me… I’d go somewhere without people to get the whole experience without interruption.
