Yeah it’s the “love triangles aren’t real” movies, books and shows always do that, it’s never really a love triangle, it’s always the main love interest, and the minor/side love interest. The main one always get’s the best moments, the most amount of scenes and everything to get you to like them more, that’s why in the first 5 eps Alex was so sweet and caring and then in ep 6 they started showing his bad qualities and showed Cole’s vulnerabilities so you could pity him and root for him in the finale. It’s always like that, u can usually immediately tell which one will be the actual love interest, which kinda sucks lol that’s why I always prefer videogames cuz u can ACTUALLY choose who you’d like to spend time with and u can get different scenes with the one you like the most lmao
