I don't think there has ever NOT been a rich kid in the Gibbs ARCA car at this point. Riley Herbst, Ty Gibbs, Taylor and Tanner Gray, Sammy Smith, Connor Mosack, William Sawalich, Max Reaves, all rich kids with rich families. Actually, Drew Herring ran that car for one race at Kansas a few years ago, but other than him lol.

You’re too young to remember this, but the cap on NASCAR teams used to be TWO. Or, more correctly, a single owner could only have two cars. But then Hendrick got around that by putting the #25 in the name of his father, so it was technically owned by a different person. And it was for a long time, where teams with more than two cars would have the third or fourth (or even fifth) listed in the name of a different person (usually a co-owner, or a wife) on the entry sheet.

In the early 2000s Roush had the Dream team of Drivers 1. Kensenth (My Fave Driver at the time along with the killer bees) 2. Kurt Busch 3. Greg Biffle 4. Carl Edwards 5. And the OG Mark Martin. What a squad to line up with on Sundays. One year Biffle was so dominant I was shocked he lost the championship

NASCAR should be getting more heat for the charter cap. Mark my words, this will have massive ripple effects on team development ladders for a decade, as big as Buschwacking if not worse. this will kill development driver farming that most of the major teams have been doing for 20 years. The smaller or midsize teams aren't going to open up seats full time for a Corey Day or Rajah Caruth unless the larger teams are essentially willing to give up their development contracts to the smaller teams. Add to that, some owners are going to go with veteran talent over opening up seats to younger drivers and there you go. The upside of this is, the Xfinity series is going to have a big glow up monet with lots of development drivers (and pay drivers that can't buy a cup seat) essentially being parked there indefinitely. Wouldn't surprise me if Connor Zillisch is a multi-time Xfinity champion teamed up with Rajah Caruth this way since Trackhouse can't just set up a full time 4th team for him.

Matt, I also live in Cincinnati but anytime I visit friends and family in Charlotte it’s mandatory that I go to cookout, it’s not the best but it’s a comfort food and a good source of nostalgia for me. There’s actually a location that has indoor seating in Huntersville.

I think the Charter Cap gives HMS and Joe Gibbs Racing a huge advantage. After all that's why teams like to have multiple cars and drivers, the extra data is the advantage everyone is looking for. So the only teams allowed to have four cars will have a huge advantage over three or less car teams. NASCAR should have set the cap at four or gave JGR and HMS a year to downsize. But I don't see NASCAR being fair in this at all. Unfair advantage to HMS and JGR. This should be a lawsuit for playing favoritism to those two teams. No team will ever be on equal footing with two teams allowed to run four cars. I guess we can all see who NASCAR favors. Shame. Why start or join a team when from the start you know you can never be able to be equal to the top two teams. Happy New Year to all race fans and may GOD bless you 🙏✝️🙏

Don't be bashing Cook Out. Yes, no one finds everything wonderful on their menu, but a few things, 1st, like you said, the shakes are awesome, 2nd, the Ice Tea is good and they'll make it half sweet/half unsweetened without questioning if you even belong in the South. 3rd the bbq sandwiches are exactly the way they should be made. (If you aren't from the South, bbq is pulled pork, it's not anything cooked on an outdoor grill, like it's considered everywhere else, that's considered grilling, not bbq'ing. But, back to the sandwiches, they're small, so get two, the shredded pork uses eastern Carolina sauce which is a vinegar sauce with spices, and a little pepper, creating a tangy and acidic flavor profile instead of a sweet one. This is topped with a little coleslaw and a small amount of hot sauce. Like you said, pick a side, that's a meal, but I recommend two sandwiches, or get one of the grilled dogs. I get it with a half/half ice tea, because I can't risk the extra 100 lbs getting addicted to the shakes!

The Woods Bros #21 car is NOT a 4th Penske car. They do initial build of the cars for Woods bros. The race prep and of course all the racing of the car is a Woods operation, not Penske.

If you're going to limit the charters to 3, I'd argue you should increase field size to 43 and bump up the amount of money non charters get. Not saying charter teams shouldn't get more money. Just make it more enticing for new owners to start up non charter teams.

They will never bump up the money the non-charter teams get because then there's less money for Charter teams and The only way they can bump up the number of Charters is new manufacturer it's in the original deal and still is. Not enough competitive teams as it is to go to 43 cars
