i know this song is tied on relationships, but i want to dedicate this to my past self. i am in a time in my life now wherein i feel like i have lost myself - the one which i and the people loved, the one who had the capacity to inspire and make a change - and it hurts me because i don’t know how to get it back. over the past year, i have done some things that i was not proud of and people around me - people i have trusted - started to destroy the reputation i have built for so many years. i am now hated by people i once loved, and the worst is, i also despise myself. i became an outcast. and though everyday, i try so hard to show the people that i love the most that i am okay, the truth is, i am not and i am really struggling. how did i lose myself like this? how did i lose me?
