Since it was near the Silk Road I wonder if anyone ever painted a picture of the actual Ark? I know that there are many paintings that were created through the painter’s imagination. I would have to guess that someone would have at least have sketched it at some point. It could be in some ancient book or maybe it does not exist anymore. There are many old family mansions throughout the EU that are tied up in legal issues where masterpieces sit there rotting away as that crazy totalitarian system has the places sitting there rotting away and the families cannot touch anything on the property.

Highly doubtful as this site has been lost and forgotten since ancient times, but you never know! Makes me wonder when was the last time it was visited regularly before Ron Wyatt re-discovered it? I don't think the Greeks would have had any interest in it, and the original 12 Apostles were all killed (except for John) before they could grow old.

@@TheFightingSheep the English name Ararat comes from the ancient word Urartu and we know where that ancient kingdom was located. It was not in Tibet or Nepal. Go look it up. From the area of Urartu where you follow the start of the Euphrates River valley from the area of the ark here then you travel east to west (aka “journey from the east”) and later the river valley turns south and enters the northern end of the plain of Mesopotamia (where Shinar is located) and continues south to the Persian Gulf. No mystery. It fits all biblical accounts.

@bonnieporter44742 ай бұрын
Nope, you are incorrect Sir. The Bible said the Ark landed in the mountains OF Ararat, not on Mt Ararat itself! Check out on Utube, Ron Wyatt's documentary in it, made in the late seventies,he is a scientist and did an ultrasound and found symmetrical ship parts underneath it where the parts rotted out, it is the exact length of the ark in the Bible, cubits converted to feet. To the exact foot,as described in the Holy Bible. I've seen the one you're referring to where those climbers were of Chinese or Japanese ethnicity, anyway these guys went down there, not sure what that is, but in that video they claimed it was on mt Ararat, But this is the Ark of Noah that landed in the Mountains of Ararat in Turkey.

No ark on Ararat. That’s a post flood stratovolcano (composite volcano). No ark up there.
@johnk63462 ай бұрын
@@bonnieporter4474 Ron Wyatt is a joke. The Ark came to rest on mount Ararat about 15 thousand feet in elevation. In 1840 there was a big earthquake on mount Ararat that tore the Ark in two, one half of the Ark was crushed and buried by ice and mud the other half stayed intact but slid down the mountain about a thousand feet and part of it was over a ledge. There have been a lot of sightings of the Ark from airplanes and the most famous airplane sighting was from Ron Bennet who was the white house photographer on air force one in 1979. In the 1970s there were several mountain climbing teams wanting to climb mount Ararat to find the Ark ( because the location of the Ark on mount Ararat was pretty much known) The Turkish government would not allow the mountain climbers on Mount Ararat to look for the Ark. Their reason was a lie that the government gave us that the region was politically unstable and dangerous. It is reported that in 1991 by people who live next to Mount Ararat that Turkish war planes blew up the remaining half of the Ark shooting dozens of missiles at it. I know a lot more details But that is the true story in a nut schell.

@@teresamcnulty8471 sadly people claiming to see an ark there are wrong and who knows what the monastery that got blown up by the last eruption in 1841 had in it. Relics are all over the place and the faithful can be gullible if it’s not tested. Today 1000s of people have climbed Ararat as it has been open to trekkers for a while now and a lot of people have climbed all over the mountain to get to the summit. No one has seen any preserved ark up there on the side or top of that volcano. Geologically it’s a post flood mountain. Look it up.
