A ship, by itself, wants to drift sideways to the wind. A modern "sea anchor" is shaped like a cone so that as the ship drifts, the sea anchor has resistance to movement and when attached to the front of the ship, it will hold the ship facing into the wind and waves.

the writing is Armenian from the root verb "կանգնել" (Ganknel) meaning to stand or to rest standing. It is written in classical Armenian. Please remember that eastern Turkey including this area was at one time western Armenia regarding the writing on one of the stone anchors.

If what you said about Noah's wife is true. Then "there were giants in those days and also afterward" could mean that it is was more a description of how big people could grow to, before the result of sin and post-flood environment took their full effect. Maybe Goliath and others were not exactly "giants", but rather the remnants of people that still had genes that allowed them to reach that potential of height and size. And the rest of us are midgets/dwarves.

Wood takes a million years to petrify. Either the time line for Noahs Ark is off or it isn't Noahs Ark.

No it does not take that long. Have you not seen the petrified trees that are still standing up in "millions of years" of layers of rock? If it takes millions of years, such petrified trees would not be possible. So...just maybe the "millions of years" theory for petrifying wood is the part that is wrong. If we look at ALL evidence through filters, we can only end up seeing what our filters allow.
