Actually I just realized something! Midland TX is a oil city and although it looks flat, it’s very high up from sea level… but it’s also known for once being “the ocean floor” and the dirt out there is red and powdery much like you’d imagine the bottom of the ocean having. All the organic life that died settled out there and created oil. My grandpa was an award winning geologist that spent decades out there working for the oil companies. What’s amazing is with all his knowledge, schooling and experience (he even flew bomber planes in WW2 to bomb German submarines) he still 100% believed in the great flood from the Bible and that there is no such thing as evolution. Even my 2 uncles to this day who aren’t really religious laugh about how they’d always get in heated arguments about it and they’d say to my grandpa “How can you be a scientist, world traveler, an award winning geologist and still not believe in evolution?!” He’d scoff and say, “All my knowledge is what proves the Bible is real!” He eventually passed away at 95 but he never gave in!! I respect him more and more the older I get! God Bless you Grandpa Louis! 🙏🏽❤️

@@JJ-fq4nl actually, there are around 200 flood stories around the globe with a startling number of similarities between them. There are also a startling number of cultures with a serpent coming to destroy the world. Recent evidence even suggests that a significant portion of the pyramids have been underwater. There is also quite a bit of sand left in North America, which would be unusual for millions of years of erosion and redistribution of land-mass

All of this is true! 💯%! A friend of mine took me on a search for arrowheads, but before we got to the place we were going to explore, he wanted to look on the side of the highway because he said someone told him they found sharks teeth in that area. So, we ventured on to the spot where it was mentioned, and sure enough we found sharks teeth! The state?…Alabama. The city?…Phenix City. No where near a body of water.! I still have those sharks teeth, and am happy to share this story with you.

A very long time ago, Alabama was half underwater. The river next to it would have overflowed and sharks would have been there. I think the story of the flood was regional, because of science and the fact that literature isn't always literal.

@@vincezetti7216 If you look at historical context, they didn't know how big the world was. To them the earth was just the land, and from what they knew the flood covered all land that they could see. I think it was a giant regional flood. Not a little flood like we see nowadays, a 100 meter deep sort of flood that destroyed a huge part of the middle east area. Firstly, the dove is said to bring back a freshly plucked olive branch, and God said that He would destroy ALL creatures and the earth. If this was literal, then he lied, because leaving a live plant isn't destroying at the level that he exaggerated to. It is said that ALL life will be destroyed, and yet sea creatures survived, and therefore it wasn't 100% literal. This doesn't discount the real events or the Bible, it is just merely seeing the Bible in context for what it means.

while I agree with Noah being the origin of where the other flood narratives came from, the skeptic's answer is that most ancient civilizations sprung up around bodies of water that flooded occasionally. stories grow over generations and boom, multiple flood narratives around the world. what I focus on is 1. the dimensions of the Ark make it perfect for the open ocean: wider than it is tall, and longer than it is wide. compare that to the Epic of Gilgamesh's perfect cube which would tumble at the slightest wave. 2. the traditional Chinese script has kept a record of everything up to the Flood. search for "Chinese connection to Genesis". it's simply awe-inspiring

For me, it is the shape of bird fossils all over the world all from the same epoch. Archaeopteryx, and dozens of others, even raptors - all are bent backwards, their necks elongated backwards over their bodies. This is an asphyxiation death pose. Birds today still go into this pose upon asphyxiation. This proves that there was a world wide phenomenon, all at the same time, that caused creatures everywhere to die from lack of oxygen. These fossils are buried in sedimentary rocks, showing that it was a watery event - not volcanic or extra-terrestrial (like a meteor strike or similar). Everywhere around the world you find fossilized birds and some small dinosaurs all in this asphyxiation pose surrounded by evidence of inundation. To believe the long ages view, you have to believe that this kept happening over and over again. All around the world simultaneously. I find it much easier to believe that it happened - ONCE. All around the world simultaneously.

@addish5022

That just means they died in water. Bird carcasses get washed into the ocean or die along river banks or other nearshore environments frequently. The extreme few that get preserved are either the result of rapid burial (and no rapid sedimentation /= global flood 4,400 years ago) or environments that delay decomposition like soda lakes or hypersaline lagoons. Your claim that fossil rich deposits could not be formed by volcanic activity is simply incorrect. The Jehol and Yanliao biotas of China and Inner Mongolia (which contain numerous well preserved fossils of birds and theropod dinosaurs) show the hallmarks of volcanism including fossils buried in shale mixed with volcanic ash.

Hi everybody! I am a new Christian. I grew up with the occult all around me and I witnessed so much suffering of innocent beings. Human and animals alike. But on the 23rd of June, 2023. It all made sense to me. I wept and felt so ashamed for doubting. I am a nurse by progression and work in psychiatry, so I don't take my faith lightly. I believe 100% on the word of our Lord. I believe that Yahweh (Jehova) is the only god, creator of all seen and unseen. I believe that he sacrificed his only son Yeh shua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth) who thought us how to praise our Lord by taking the apóstoles to spread the gospel. He then sacrificed his life on the cross and with his blood washed away our sin. He died only in flesh, not in spirit and on the third day he rose again. I think that the bible was written in a way that made sense to our ancestors and much, despite how much we try we cannot comprehend. There is much more to what has been and what is but not all can be written. We could not comprehend and it would be impossible to record it all. That is where FAITH comes in. For what is proven, we no longer need faith to believe. Our bible is just our manual to know how to live a life that pleases our creator. And Satan is working hard on planting seeds of doubt. Remember Job my friends. We might not understand or believe we deserve injustice, but we are in trial, so choose wisely. May our Lord have mercy on us and allow us to see the truth and keep our faith and love for him strong. ❤

I see what you're trying to say, but I disagree. The Bible, especially in Genesis, uses lots of hyperboles and metaphors to give us messages. I think that the flood was regional, but was still a big flood that wiped out all the people in the middle east area who were very sinfull. The Bible states that 'everything' was destroyed, but if we look at the verses it also used metaphors and other exaggerations, like saying that the floods were from the floodgates of heaven, while it was meaning rain from the sky. Also, if the whole world was flooded for 40 days, then all plant life would have been destroyed. The dove is said to have brought back a freshly plucked olive branch, showing us that some plants would have stayed around. They also said they saw the mountains approaching, and then landed on the middle or base of the mountains of Ararat. This shows that the flood was most likely regional to the area, because the area that would have filled up with water in this case would bring them to the sort of area they said. The geographical evidence you gave doesn't proove a world wide flood. The fossil layers are from either layers of crustaceans dying and being compacted with rock by water pressure, or it could have been from other floods that weren't global. These fossils are also from ash and volcanic erruptions or dust storms. These layers may show that ther was a flood at some point, but they don't mean that the flood that made them was the global flood. Finding fossils in land and on mountains are easily geographically normal. Lots of areas are underwater, and then are uncovered with moving land and tectonic activity. Most places on earth have been at one point under water. Also, on mountains, shells are normal because as tectonic plates move, they crush together and what was once at the bottom of an ocean is pushed up into a mountain. A fossilised jellyfish isn't proof of a global flood, because if one washes up if may be easily covered in sand from a storm, covered by a falling rock, or washed in by a tsunami. There are lots of plausible ways a fossil like this could exist that don't correlate to a global flood. I don't think that if we don't take Genesis literal, we can't be sure if the rest is true. We have to look at the context. Genesis is a tradition and ancient creation story, probably passed on by orla tradition and written texts. These are real history, but if you look at the context, lots of literature like this contains metaphorical language that is used to give us the base ideas and general events without being exactly literal. Also, it is said that ALL life will be destroyed, and yet sea creatures survived, and therefore it wasn't 100% literal. If I look at the gospels, I can be sure that they aren't just exaggerated stories because the context is that they are historical biographies of Jesus life and ministry. At the same time, some things Jesus said could be metaphors and exaggerated, like a camel passing through a needle's eye. This doesn't discredit the Bible or our belief at all. When the Bible says everything, it is often an exaggeration. An example of this is in Genesis 9:3 where God says that EVERYTHING that lives and moves is food for us. This isn't literal, as there are poisonous animals and humans which we can't eat. Acknowledging this as a metaphor doesn't make us confused as to if everything else is a lie, in fact it allows us to connect the Bible to science and modern knowledge that things in Genesis aren't all literal accounts and can be messages. If you want more proof, watch Inspiring Philosophy. He makes some very wise conclusions and gives evidence for science and the Bible. It doesn't really matter though, as long as we are sure in Christ our saviour, nothing will un-save us.

They've ALL been supernaturally attacked in fulfillment of prophecy. And the second verse was written about when the films that document the bible changes are no longer able to be seen, which are the ONLY place on Earth where God's TRUE words can still be found without Satan's words mixed in, there and in written lists like the one at (amos) (8) (.) They won't eat it if there's enough poison in it that they can taste it. He could have changed all the words, but then everyone would notice and quit reading it.👉👉👉 And he wouldn't have changed what he did if it wouldn't bring people to Hell!!! There are changes on every page of the KJV, more than any other translation...go figure. So if you aren't seeing changes on every page, you're doing exactly what Satan wants, eating his "rat poison"! I haven't opened my bible, (a KJV) that I got in 1961 and cherished my whole life, in over 7 years and will never read another one the rest of my life. I learned so much about this that I can't even LOOK at it now without getting a creepy feeling like looking at a Ouija board or a voodoo doll or something! 👉I give everybody the same advise, first watch all the films in my playlist which you'll find by just typing in (proof of bible change residue junkie) for a good understanding of how this is perfectly fulfilling many end time prophecies which we had all previously misinterpreted and to receive a 1,000% increase in faith,👉 then print out the PDF brother Tim has at his KJV restoration project at (I have to write this website in code or skroo tube won't post this comment!) amos ate dot oh are gee, of a long list of the changes that have been documented.👉 And then instead of reading any bible, watch as many of the other videos those channels have made on this as you can before the lights go out and Amos **8:12** is fulfilled too. That way you'll only be reading God's words instead of a mixture of His and Satan's. There'll be time to read Satan's rat poison later if you still want to.* *God bless!!!* ❤✝️💪 P.S. That shouldn't have been possible, and it looked more like the rock was made of different types of earth carried by water that had settled around the tree into muddy layers and dried, similarly to how you could mix up types of dirt, swirl them around in a cup and the dirt will settle into layers at the bottom when you're done.

The problem with the global flood story is that there has never been a break in civilizations the whole time. If there is evidence of oceans covering all of the world, it would not and could not be all at the same time due to civilizations continuously existing. There are plenty of other scientific problems that would demonstrate why a world flood is not possible, but the history of civilizations should be enough evidence for the layperson to understand that a global flood did not occur, at least at the same time.

It's the exact same thing that I am saying. There are several disciplines such as Uniformitarianism, Cosmology, Macroevolution is based on the unfalsifiable fundamental principle that the present is the key to the past. They are arguing based on the A priori deduction fallacy. Sure they have very limited empirical data but that empirical data doesn't say anything about the unobserved past unless they make unwarranted extrapolations of the very limited and useless available data beyond the universal past. They should just admit that the Earth is atleast around 5500 years old based on the oldest written inscription available instead of making reckless extrapolations.

@@PaulDormody "The present is the key to the past" is the assumption that the way things function today is how they always functioned. Unsurprisingly, now that it's practically a career death sentence to mention the flood in academic circles, suddenly these scientific institutions are interested in investigating catastrophic causes again...albeit only if it helps to provide argumentation for accepted naturalist ideas. This is one key reason why creationists reject the myriad contradictory claims of the scientific institutions - and are right to do so.

@@davidgardner863 Science is falsifiable. The claim that the present is the key to understanding the (unobserved) past is not falsifiable and its also based on the A Priori Deduction fallacy. If it isn't falsifiable, then it isn't science and it is instead pseudoscience. Don't get me wrong. Historical science such as History and Archaeology do make testable claims because History and Archaeology are based on the existence of eyewitness testimonies in the past. But Uniformitarianism, Cosmology and Macroevolution are pseudoscience because they make A Priori deductive and unfalsifiable claims into the unobserved past which should be acceptable at all.

An all knowing God cannot truly experience grief. He could make himself feel grief genuinely if he is all powerful, but it makes no sense to make yourself experience grief, if you know the outcome of creation before it's plays out.

@Fordry
@Fordry Жыл бұрын
No, no no no. Ron Wyatt is a scam. Seriously, don't fall for everything that comes along claiming stuff just because it "fits" creationism. No one else really believes him. The far most likely scenario is that the ark was dismantled and used to build the first structures after the flood and that whatever remnants were left, if any, have long since rotted away. Wood doesn't survive thousands of years exposed to the elements.

I believe God, I believe the Flood happened, but be careful about stories of finding the Ark. The "proof" is shaky if you really look into it. Don't set your faith on an object. Finding proof of God's Word is exciting and helpful and joyful, but really research this before you believe it as fact, see what other Bible believers are saying too.

@@kenny-z3m Well I ran across this post, I'll repost it because it just seems troubling, so be careful, :As it happens, the newsletter of the Associates for Biblical Research (a conservative, Bible-believing archeology ministry) has recently published a review of an extremely thorough book carefully assessing all of Wyatt’s claims, by Russell and Colin Standish, called Holy Relics or Revelation - Recent Astounding Archaeological Claims Evaluated, Hartland Publications, Rapidan VA, paper, 302 pages. The reviewer, Rev. R. Fisher (a non-Adventist), writes: ‘Ron Wyatt was a Seventh Day Adventist, so who better to investigate his claims than Adventist brothers? The Standishs began wanting to believe, and have dug into first sources by way of Wyatt’s own newsletters, videos and writings. The authors are extremely fair and objective … [as they] meticulously, painstakingly examine in detail all of Wyatt’s claims. The weakest link of all is that Wyatt had never photographed, or proven with hard archaeological evidence, any of his claimed discoveries. They were just claims-the product of his fertile imagination. There was no testable evidence put forth. Wyatt never produced an archaeological permit from the Antiquities Authority in Israel though challenged to do so, as chapter 52 shows. His account of what he saw and found at the Garden Tomb site differs greatly from all the coworkers and eyewitnesses there, as proven in chapter 51. The Standishs also have talked to eyewitnesses who have questioned Wyatt’s outbursts of temper, harsh language, and conduct unbecoming a professing Christian … Wyatt appeared to have trouble telling the truth.

The most amazing part of the Story is that waters came up out of the deep! Was it salt water? Was it fresh water? Where is that water now? Life needs fresh water to survive. Both animals and plants need fresh water. So, the earth needs a filtering system to remove salt from the waters. Are the waters that came up from the deep filtered sea water?

no. less than 1% of fossils found are land animals. humans along with most land animals bloat, float, and disintegrate. most of those land animal fossils came from the ice age, after the flood. most fossils from the flood would have been marine animals with exo skeletons. it is estimated, at most, there were 300million people on earth at the time of the flood, even if they were all fossilized, spread out all over the earth, it would still be pretty unlikely to find one. now if you believe in evolution, and humans have been here for 3million years with trillions of people possibly being fossilized, we would certainly find more, but we don't.
