Good to be the best of class, but $100 unfortunately doesn’t get you much anymore. Rather get a versions ago of adidas or puma 30-50% off at $80-110. Nike rarely discounts where i buy. I used to get a few top end boots & then trial some different take down models & use in poor conditions. Getting older, my feet really don’t tolerate low quality well, heel & other pain when boots just not made well enough.

The metallic finish causes the leather to feel more synthetic. Metallic finishes also reduce the ability for a boot to stretch over time making it harder to break in.

Nike mentioned synthetic for the previous silver color, and real leather for this gold one, so even they are confused 😂. I got both. The gold one looks like a collectors item so don’t think I’ll play with them anytime soon, while I’m playing with the silver one tomm on AG.

Quick update after playing a game in the silver ones. The leather upper felt great on the ball, but the traction on AG felt lacking and I felt slow. I’m sure these are great on FG as rated for its sole plate. I missed the smooth seamless traction of Nike’s own AG sole plate on the GX that I played with earlier, unfair comparison for something that costs more than twice. But I’m going back to the AG GX for now.

Played in the Tiempo premier 2 all season. Just got a pair of the Mizuno neo 4 beta MIJ. The Mizunos are much more sung and the sole plate is much better in the Mizuno's. The sole plate let this boot down and the 2's as well. Still might get a pair of the 3s but SG only. If Nike upgraded the sole plate with somwthing more sturdy and aggressive this boot will be epic as it still one of the only solid, light and moulding leather boots that fit better and better every time you play in them.

Some online stores list them as Synthetic leather and some online stores list them as Calfskin leather. We have to stock up on the old colorways.

They must be leather. Premier III is said to be leather through the whole lifecycle. New Premier IV is supposed to sport the same synth leather the Tiempo already has. Theoretically possible that Nike spoilered a special teaser edition. But very unlikely for this silo and they would have made a big hustle around that. I guess this was rumor and missinterpreted messaging for the upcoming Premier IV. Every product has to be labeled with materials. Just look for the sticker saying what the upper is made off. Pretty sure you'll find the leather icon there. And if it was sustainable, you would for sure find the Nike sunburst logo printed all over it as you correctly mentioned. Little leak: There will be two more Premier IIIs. One aligning with the 30 Year Tiempos in the special edition colorway. And a really spectacular 90s style one in Black and Volt. And I can 110% ensure you this black one will be leather.

Yeah that bit surprised me because I got these recently (even same colorway) my toes were almost at the end too, but I had to return them as my big toe ended up hurting and turned purple after just a couple of hours (1 hour game per day) So I thought maybe you had more gap than I did, hence the suggestion of literally pressing down as opposed to describing the fit, to compare more accurately with my fit. Might also help many others with the other shoes that you review in the future

I’m in California and I would see a “Unavailable to Ship to California” due the use of Kangaroo Leather on these Premiers going back about two years. Now, I’m seeing some of the new Premier colorways recently being able to ship to CA. I think they gone away with Kangaroo leather.

I was looking into these today before I watched the video and started a chat with Nike. When asked what material the upper was I was told all premier and tiempo were kangaroo leather, which is false because new tiempos are synthetic then I was told that these specific ones, the gold color way are in their words cow leather and as new models come out they will be switching to synthetic material. So I’m guessing it’s based on color way and when it released?

The durability on these are horrible for people with a wide midfoot shape. I’ve been through 2 pairs and both have torn on the same spot, the seam on the outside of the foot. Premier II way better in my opinion.
