Just played this map for the first time in years. It seems to be way easier than it used to be. Still not easier, but zombies were definitely needed, and the start weapon was also definitely buffed.

You should play "Alpha Omega" i just watch a little bit of it and it looks absolutely amazing! There are a bunch of cool new mechanics that look absolutely great! Id suggest watching some vids on it to get a grasp of what im trying to say here. But i highly recommend it. It seems like something you'd enjoy. Fyi the starting pistol is op and can kill zombies in 1 knife until round 5 is my guess
