in case you were wondering, his gun was doing a lot of damage because of a glitch using the cheat code. it glitches out and uses the snipers bullets but keeps it full auto, resulting in the highest dps possible.

That’s why there’s different types of speed runs. Any% no subtitles are do whatever to beat it. Glitch less would mean all this going through walls is prohibited you have to actually play the game just as efficient short cuts I don’t think count as glitches as long as it’s not defying the games law.

When he goes on the ledge and uses the weapon wheel he is inputing hundreds of jump inputs to launch himself upwards. The reason this happens is because he has jump binded to the scroll wheen and since time is slowed he is able to put in so many it launches him upwards. The way hes able to go so fast when b-hopping is due to jump being binded to jump as well as he is able to jump on a specific frame in which it allows him to convert vertical fall speed into forward speed. Even with jump binded to scroll wheen hitting the specific frame is still pretty hard because if you accidently double jump you lose all momentum.

If I recall correctly the glitch where he launches in the air works because on slopes you are able to stack multiple jump in puts, he uses mouse wheel for jump, the reason he goes into the weapon menu is because it slows down time allowing him too get more jump inputs in

That map wide jump mechanic is when they bind the weapon wheel to the mouse wheel. Apparently when you go to the weapon wheel and then flick the mouse wheel like insanity it builds up insane momentum that allows him to jump over the map. He actually explains it in the IGN Devs reaction to the Doom Speedrun.

To jump in that way you simply have to bind the jump button to the scroll wheel and the games kinda bugs out and think that you made a lot of jumps at once and they all count for some reason . Obviously you still need some practice to pull it off consistently The reason why his weapon is so powerful is because he glitched it by loading a different level and equipping the mini rockets attachment and from that point onwards every shot he fired dealt the damage of a rocket

He bound jump to scroll up or down on the mouse wheel but choosing a weapon from the wheel is always bound to up and down. They spin the scroll wheel super quick for a lot of jump inputs and because of the way the game coded inclined surfaces each of the jump inputs is validated, that’s what makes you go flying. The reason they open the weapon wheel is for slow-mo.

Doom 2016 SRs are pretty much more of the same, so yeah, really good. Also the heavy cannon that powerful, it's just glitched. It fires sniper shots at micro missle fire rates.

In order to do that weapon wheel launch I believe that you bind jump to scroll wheel up or down and then when in weapon wheel you scroll your wheel in whatever direction you have jump and since you are in slow mode all the jump inputs happen as one and you get a giant boost in the air. That is how I believe you do it.

Noah the super jumps you see are done because of an action in the game that allows bigger jumps on ledges or hills so they have the scroll wheel set to jump and on those edges they spam jump so much it recognizes each input and launches you. That was a crude description because I dont play on pc just know I cant do that on xbox series x lol because the scroll wheel jump combo with that ledge jump thing then ballista for backwards momentum.

that IDKFA cheat code is to activate a glitched heavy canon where you fire sniper rounds as if you were using the micro missles. So you essentially get both micro and precision bolts at the same time. :D

The boost jump are performed by binding jump to the mouse wheel, you then find a edge so you can fall off of and the second you start falling you open your weapon wheel and start scrolling your mouse wheel

The thing with the IDKFA cheat code is theres a glitch to morph the two weapon upgrades into one. So what you're seeing is the Rifle with its sniper mod and rockets mod morphed so its firing sniper shots at the speed of the mini rockets. insane damage.

The boost jump glitch works cause there’s a mechanic in doom that lets u jump in mid-air. Almost every ledge has a hit box that alows you to jump even tho ur technically in the air due to POV restrictions among other factors. This is bugged on slopes, were this hit box constantly refreshes itself. This means you can jump repeatedly, storing momentum for a super jump. The runners slow down the time with the weapon wheel to allow for enough jump inputs for a launch, having jump mapped to the mouse wheel for even faster inputs. That’s my basic understanding of it anyway.

Maybe too late to say this but the big boost glitch happens when you start falling near a wall you pull up your weapon menu for the slowed time and bind jump to you scroll wheel and go ham on it when you exit the weapon wheel time catches up and overloads the jump command and give you big boy boost

The jump technique to make you fly is that when you open the weapon wheel it slows down time and they bind their jump button to the scroll wheel and are spamming the scroll wheel so that the jump inputs stack allowing them to fly through the entire map

The super jump explained: Jump is bound to a macro(or to the mouse wheel) and spammed while slightly falling, launching you into the air at stupid levels, this action is further expanded upon by being in the weapon switch menu, which slows time when open, essentially allowing more clicks per tic, and boosting you even higher.

weapon wheel slows down game allowing you to input lots of 'air jumps' because on edges of platforms there are small areas where you can input jumps off the object, this allows him to jump super high as the jumps inputted during slowed down time all stack making his jumps super high also im not sure but i think they might use a macro to make the super jumps more consistent from player to player but im not too sure on that

He binds jump to his scroll wheel he also has a mouse that allows you to spin the scroll wheel really fast, when he pulls up weapon wheel he slows down time in the game and spins the scroll wheel to get many jumps in and therefore launches you into the air

Basically what he’s doing is using his scroll wheel to overload the game with jump commands, in certain sweet spots you go flying. When he uses the weapon wheel it slows down time so he can put in even more jumps!

noah the gun isnt fully upgraded. its that he can use the precision bolt and its damage at the same speed and ammo cost of a micro missile. and thats what makes it overpowered
