Your channel is great in that you give some very practical advice that is easy to take to the practical session. More like that.

As I commented in your previous video, Keith Emerson was a master of this stuff. Thanks for sharing your insights!

Did Chopin use ostinato and Bach and then there musical forms that did just that and Carl Orff used it in his pedagogy and compositions. Good keep up the good work Noah.

Great method! Here is the answer to your question: ostinato, (Italian: “obstinate”, ) plural Ostinatos, or Ostinati, in music Cheers!

@@NoahKellman Awesome. I was having a bit of trouble pinning down the difference between swing and bebop (bebop seems generally faster, but I think there are slow bebop tunes also). I was thinking it would be cool if there was a video taking simple melodies (Happy Birthday, 3 blind mice etc...) and doing right hand single line improvisations in the swing style and the bebop style making the distinctions between the two styles. Maybe this could be part of a larger video on swing vs bebop.

@@otakurocklee hmm awesome will definitely think this one through and see if I can come up with a good, clear method of distinguishing them and explaining their differences!

In Italian it is ostinati ! But is now the pragmatic rule in foreign languages to just add an S. Arpeggio ==> arpeggios, scenario ==> scenarios
