European Space Agency is not a part of EU institutions. There is a separate, independent treaty between member countries of ESA. Nice video though. Thanks.

There are several good textbooks on the European Union, all of which cover the institutional structures. See, for example, Cini and Borragan's "European Union Politics," Lelieveldt's "Politics of the European Union," Olsen's "European Union: Politics and Policies," or McCormick's "The European Union." The European Union's website also has a number of resources for understanding its institutional structure and politics. Good luck in your studies!
