Simmons was NEVER A MEMBER HE WAS ONE of 2 Founding Assistant Directors of NOASB for 4 years him and Baryl the one who’s directing the song. He’s from New Orleans and NOASB gave him his first true platform to display his arranging talents to the world before Southern , so the roots with that organization runs deep even though he’s now Director of LLI which he was a member of as a student in high school
