This battle really just showed sound preference. Like looking at SU vs JSU in my opinion. Some like arrangements that has a bright tone, some dark. We can all say there was a change since the battle of 2022. And the fact that it causes so much of a bias (or unbiased) opinion from both ends is amazing! These two bands (plus Memphis) will be the new Titans of summer bands for possibly some time to come. It hasn’t been this hype since MAAB vs NOASB. Legit the SU vs JSU battle of summer bands in my opinion.

I’ve watched this battle 5 times this week.. IMO, NO won this battle. Both were good but GAMB is going to be louder just due to size.. The arrangements NO had were nice! Besides trumpet hangovers. Grease by NO was 🔥

The more I watch this the more lean towards NOLA!! I honestly believe NOLA won ppl thought I was crazy! It was just the trumpets from both bands for me that was messing up with the handovers we hear the screams I promise you! 😅

Some of these people are utterly ridiculous talking about summer bands repeating songs.. Look damnit. These Summer bands have less than a month or a month at Most to get their bands together, practice like crazy and raise money to travel because the DO NOT have the Money from Big universities for their travel, and they do not have the Time of MONTHS to build a book Like Universities have for their Football season which last 3 to 4 months.. What the hell do these people expect. These bands have 2, MAYBE 3 Battles at most of their whole season (which you can't even call a season) and their battles are a week or 2 at most apart. For anyone complaining about Summer bands "repeating songs" and expecting them to build brand new books, they sound very stupid and ignorant for clearly not considering the Major different between the length and duration between Summer bands which you can hardly call a season, And University Bands for football seasons, which is much much longer and funded.

I feel you on this people think summer band need to have interchangeable books. It don't work that way I would rather have 10 to 15 solid ass songs that's super clean than 30 sloppy songs that no one can understand.

NO had a full 2 months of practice... No excuse for why they lost both battles this year. Damn y'all haven't won a battle since GA choke slammed y'all last year

@@odesent Dude.. everybody said, as well as we all witnessed, Gamb got bodied by MMB and New Orleans came afterwards and finished them off. And what made that A$$ whooping look even more extreme was because how Massive Gamb was. GAMB got not 1, but 2 David and Goliath slaying. and both at home.. Everybody said this was just not a good yr for GAMB. In fact, the main question in the summer band world/circle was "Does size matter"? many reaction videos was made with this with this question as the topic after seen everybody seen N*ggas bust into Georgia and Gang rape GAMB 2 weeks back to back. I will admit that Harry Potter was real nice. But 1 song don't win battles. I personally say GAMB pulled out "Harry Potter and their Book of Whole notes".

GAMB had the numbers and was pushing watts. But NOASB killed them with musicianship and technicality. Now both bands has their moments but I give it to NOASB

@@pointblank5750 Gamb also messed up multiple times against Memphis so your argument holds no weight...being in person does not negate the facts that Gamb continuously missed notes had tempo issues and also over arranged intros that was jumbled up with no clarity. These are facts so once again what makes them the winners in this battle?

@@WattsArrangements GAMB only messed up once against Memphis, that tempo issue on the ballot. NO messed up more than once this battle, so my argument definitely stands. And being there definitely does make a huge difference. You can't possibly know cause you weren't there.
